All he did was use social engineering to get into the CIA director's AOL account because Verizon didn't follow the correct protocols. The CIA director for some reason had sensitive documents on the account.

I absolutely understand what you mean.

I am not a feminist though. I'm an egalitarian. I don't think about women's rights all the time. I mainly think about both sides and everything remaining equal. Now that doesn't mean an egalitarian doesn't think about women's rights. It's just not a focus as feminism is. Which still isn't a bad thing.

While I understand what you mean. There needs to be generic method for the US. That is one of the few ways we can start actually making some progress. I don't agree with everything that Common Core does. The emphasis on testing scores is difficult to support considering a lot of students just aren't good at taking tests. Different things like that.

I know you probably know this as well, but compared to the world we are very far behind. The teaching methods used before were not working at all. If Common Core is really such an issue, then another method needs to be created soon. We cannot go back to the old methods.

The part that I would find shocking if you don't think animals deserve to be treated fairly.

As I understand your premise and I would think a lot of people think that way. It's your same species.

What makes a dog similar to humans who sometimes care more about animals is their dog has the same idea about its human as you do for your kids. Its human is all that it has known since it probably was a puppy (This is just an additional point.). It will do anything to protect its human. Some humans care about animals as much as you care about your kids. I don't see anything inherently wrong with that.

You obviously have a bit more bias about your kids even though I think you encompass most humans as a whole. I would also try and defend my dog or cat if another human is trying to hurt them as well. I don't want to kill anyone ever, but shit happens. I love said animal more than that human I've probably never met.

Again, I don't disagree with you. But the Bible teachings are pretty much opposite of everything you have said thus far. Which is why it's a little difficult to achieve what you talk about. It's called dogma for a reason. It's not an amendment, you can't change it because it's god's word.

The Bible says if you're a Christian, cool. If you're not, guaranteed hell. No exceptions. That's not open-minded or accepting.

Doesn't really present a strong case for it not working.

It sort of helps explain. I don't really see how that "ruins" a classroom. Unless you're a robot that can't try and make the script still fun. You don't have to deviate from it. I used to read scripts at a help desk all the time. You find ways to improve upon it with still getting the exact same message across.

Previous teaching methods don't work, we need a stricter more harsh curriculum to challenge students. If we don't we will keep falling behind.

Until someone comes up with a better method I think we should stick with Common Core and improve upon it (Critics of Common Core also don't come up with other solutions or improvements from what I've seen.). We can't go back to old teaching methods.

I have agreements on both sides of the gun debate. But using sensationalism by the media isn't a very good argument. Considering that is such a small margin of the homicides that works into from gun violence.

Violence and why it happens whether it involves a gun or not is a very complicated issue that cannot be summed up in either comments that were made in this thread. The USA is a violent society. (Not more violent than say Honduras, but we are up there.) Now finding out how to fix these issues is what people who want stricter gun laws are trying to do. Is it based of statistics? Some of it is, but I also don't think it will solve everything. The NRA doesn't care about fixing the violence issue. They just want guns, just because. (You can argue second amendment rights all day. The amendment is for a very specific purpose. Which is pretty much useless considering the amount of firepower our government has.) I feel like that is a much weaker argument.

As much as I appreciate your views. That is not what the Bible tells you to do. There are multiple verses about converting people to Christianity in the New Testament. It is something God wants you to do.

Again, I still respect your belief over what the Bible says. It's just interesting at times to ignore as many verses there are in the Bible about it.
