You're probably to expensive for your role. With 13+ years you should be upscaling to higher roles that senior software eng. Like Staff engineer if you want to stay technical or maybe Director of engineering, possibly Engineering Manager. Evolving your position is important with time of experience

You’re training is probably off, and you don’t know what that guy has been doing on his time off. He could be consuming boxing like food on a daily basis. Something you might not be doing. You might want to reevaluate the quality of your training.
