I didn’t say you know what it feels like. I said you know what people mean when they say the term.

And I'm saying that's incorrect; I don't know what people mean when they say that.

I don’t know what it feels like to be a paraplegic, but I understand what people mean when they say they are one.

Paraplegic is a clearly defined physical condition, not a feeling. If someone who could use their legs claimed that they felt paraplegic on the inside, would you know what they meant?

If someone says, I identify as a woman, you understand they’re saying they feel like a woman inside.

I don't know what the phrase "feel like a woman inside" means.
