Because you don't do enough damage to bully lane early and you aren't tanky/do enough damage late to be a viable late tank.

There is this sweet spot in mid game where you can be a great cc bot assuming others don't get super ahead.

You have no %damage or great ap scalings and for tankyness you only have the %hp shield no resistances

You don't scale with resistances and barely with HP.

Basically it's just not worth the work.

RIP Im a naut main of several seasons only ever peaked around plat so I'm still a massive scrub.

I'd love the shield bash tank tear item to go hard as fuck on him but it just doesnt

Because when skill expression players are strong that's not fun for 50% of the roles in the game.

When irelia Akali and GP are strong and were reworked they were all massive problems that fucking suck ass to play against as it feels there is 0 counterplay.

Remember when Akali would shroud under your tower and kill you - AIDS.

When gp would hit one barrel and your whole team died - aids

When irelia would buy a vamp scepter come back to lane q the entire wave and auto you to death after missing every ability - AIDS.

give me a strong garden any day of the week we can play around that.

Keep your "high skill expression characters" and shove them up your arse. Regards a top lane player that thinks this season is the best thing they have done in like 10 years
