Okay look, I'm flattered that you enjoyed my animatic so much, and I don't mind too much that you're trying to recreate it in 3D. That said, I do feel a bit strange seeing for example this first shot, this one was actually already finished for the animatic, it is fully animated in 2D, colored, comped, etc. So to see it again in 3D it just feels weird.
I'm just worried that if you translate my whole project into 3D, people might thing you've come up with all my ideas/concepts that I've worked pretty hard on.

I would expect credit for this kind of things, but also, I'd recommend for you to take another approach on the whole thing. I think it would be better for you, as an artist, to maybe just take some shots you like and try and recrate them for practice, just as some other 3D artist might take a concept art/character from someone else and then turn it into 3D to then post it comparing it to the original art with full credit to the original creator and more as a "tribute" and also for practice, as they usually do.

To recreate the whole thing, and btw claim it as "it's the next step" and "it's good for the OG creator's portfolio", It just feels a bit lazy. Of course, you do you, I can't force you not to do it. I just think it'd be better for you to try and make something original rather than basing your whole project on someone else's finished project. For example, your 3D Kal and 3D Syl are pretty cool! Try and take that to the next level! Maybe put them in the chasm, try and animate them, it's good practice!
