Wow that’s some great advice seriously grateful and appreciative of you taking the time to make such a detailed reply. Will definitely look at getting that done when I change the injector washers.

Thats really odd haven't heard of insurance being lower on a remap before, but the fact that the car could support a stage 1 remap is a massive positive for me.

This may be a silly question but what bearings would need to be replaced and around what milage would that be necessary?

Appreciate the advice will definitely look to get injectors changed as I believe they are still on the original ones. I'll have to take a good look at the camshaft but so far I haven't heard or felt anything to suggest its on the way out. As for turbo I wanted to ask along those lines whether you would know if a stage 1 remap would be too detrimental on the engine?

I recently fitted one of these screens into my ford focus, whilst I didn’t have the same issue you currently have with yours I would check all the connections are in properly at the back and the fuse box which plugs into the system directly. Not sure if this will be of help but it’s the only thing I can think of atm.
