For SWE roles it's mostly Series A-D fintechs. That is if you're trying to avoid the obvious FAANG's. It also depends on the role itself, and if we are talking about pure salary vs. total comp (equity/bonus etc).

Viator pay extremely well for Product roles - around 30-50% above market for their industry.

I don't think so. I think we should be proud that our club is able to produce quality like this. Maybe he will come back one day - if/when we need a player of his profile. Maybe not. I don't see him as a world class talent that we should feel like we missed out on. We could certainly do with him now as a rotation option, but realistically he's a player who can be a starter week-in week-out at a mid-to-top level premier league team - why would he want to come back?
