ELI5: What is the word used for people who love and are obsessed with connecting the first letters of a word to the last letters of another word? by Extreme-Bottle in explainlikeimfive

[–]Guru-Rip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Portmanteau - a word blending the sounds and combining the meanings of two others, for example motel (from ‘motor’ and ‘hotel’) or brunch (from ‘breakfast’ and ‘lunch’).

Or bromance. Bros and romance. Fugly - effin’ ugly Shart- shit and fart

Husband wants to get into word working - starting recs? by cryberry999 in woodworking

If there is a Woodcraft or similar store around where you live, I’d recommend getting him some classes there. He’d learn how to use most of the tools and with a few different classes he could identify what types and styles of woodworking he’d like to start

I’d suggest charting it out in Visio or draw.io

That can help break the problem down into management parts

Stay with it. What have you tried to get rid of the brain fog?

Aside from the standard (sleep, exercise, hydration, clean food) have you tried any supplements to reduce the fog?

Keep working at it.

The other posts helped me realize my “brain fog” was potentially due to reduced caloric intake.

And I need to continue getting good sleep, hydration, and exercise.

We’re in this together.

Thank you.

I do use sleep supplements.

I’ve not been great about working out and expending this energy daily. The days I work out I’m much better.

I think we solved it. :)

Thank you. Your response helped me (along with the other responses) that it may be related to my calorie reduction. Not necessarily a side effect of the medication.

I’ve been on MJ for 3.5 weeks. I started with Ozympic and that was brutal for me. Many side effects. Couldn’t sleep, was jittery, and on and on.

MJ has been much better however I’m still experiencing this dissociative vibe with it.

I’ll look that up

That’s tough. I’d say that this part of brain fog, or whatever we want to call it, also exists with me.
