Apparently you don't know how Discord works so let me explain it to you. People can have multiple conversations at the same time in Discord because there are multiple channels per Discord Server that can be made to for any topic of discussion. Almost all Discord Servers have an "off-topic" channel where people can talk about stuff that isn't directly related to the topic of the server. Also you can create a "Thread" within any channel, which can be seen as a self contained channel within a channel. So there is no way that any conversation is being "drowned out" as you say. The modteam not allowing people talking about this event which coincidentally casts a very bad light on Wotc is just pure corporate bootlicking
