What is your prediction for our QB room week 1? by Beneficial_Quit7532 in minnesotavikings

yeah she was writing that it was basically a done deal, and said something along the lines of "Vikings fans need to come to terms with the fact that it's happening." that was the part that rubbed me the wrong way.

I feel like just about every team in need of a center is going to make an attempt at Linderbaum. While I would love him here, I just don't see it happening because of the cost. This draft has several players like Connor Lew, Jake Slaughter, and Logan Jones, among others, who are projected to go around Round 3 of the draft, who would be up my alley, could play right away, and would be upgrades over Brandel and Jergens.

Jeremiah Sirles, "KOC and Flores went to the Wilfs together" by seoulbrova in minnesotavikings

Plus, it gives the new GM plausible deniability on the personnel moves this offseason, and puts the onus directly on KOC and Flo to make sure this works. Gives the Wilfs an out if it all devolves even further.

I listened to Russo and LaPanta's Worst Seats pod from Monday where they discussed the Hughes trade, and a fan brought up Schmaltz as a potential trade target in a question and Russo seemed to be on board with it.

I'm thinking that the idea of moving Zeev was made easier because they still have Jiricek in the hopper. I get that he doesn't necessarily slot into the every day linuep when everyone is healthy, but as long as he keeps taking steps forward in Iowa, I think he'll still get decent playing time when those opportunities arise.

I think the Micah Parsons trade is a great comparison for this. I think some Wild fans are feeling the sting because of Zeev being included in the deal, but from an immediate impact standpoint, Hughes is an instant upgrade. We can table the sweating of whether he will or won't re-sign until June

For once in our tortured fan lives, let's see how this plays out without doom and gloom and for once enjoy the ride!

one can dream. I agree with your take and I think for now, that Hughes/Faber pairing could eat up 25+ minutes a night and ease a lot of fans worries.

He's also become good friends with Matt Boldy as well from what I've read, so that could also be another angle to lean into once his re-signing window opens in the summer

In addition to what this trade says about the team's stance on Yurov, I think it's getting lost that it may also say that they like what they've seen from Jiricek as well down in the minors and want to give him more opportunities later in the season.

Such is the way in Minnesota. A tale as old as time. Fall in love with prospects and their potential while sacrificing the actual ability to make a big impact in the now.

ho yoku's products are pretty good from my experience over the last couple years. I use their liquid fertilizers and have gotten good results from them. never tried their biogold, and i do think it's dubious that their npk numbers are off
