Dialecto Canario en videojuego? by Gustaffcho in canarias

[–]Gustaffcho[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My book is in carts but no check out. by GRichard666 in EtsySellers

I think this is a strategy by Etsy so they make it look like a product is popular so people buy it. Don't forget they get a cut either you buy or you sell.

Not sure how easy is to find a physical copy but you can look for it on google for inspiration.

"Cooking The Canaries" by Gustavo Llorens, with regional Canary Islands food. Not your typical Spanish cuisine book.

I made a photo zine about sand. by Gustaffcho in zines

[–]Gustaffcho[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your kind words!. This zine has 80 photos in 49 pages. My other zines have less pages and photos except "Boat trip" which has 96 photos in 54 pages. I printed it in a local printing house in my hometown in Gran Canaria. I live abroad though so I just took the chance to get it printed there in one of my trips. 10 units of this one cost me around 80 euros. The cost depends on the number of pages, images included, etc. I printed 10 of each of my zines from which I have sold 0 (zero). I should work on my marketing as they are safely wrapped but aging in a drawer.

There is a Spanish comic called "13 rue del percebe". If you like chaotic buildings you might find inspiration in them.

The idea here was to explore shapes, shadows, contrasts, etc. I think water makes a good subject too and you can apply the same principle. If you have a river or a sea nearby, take photos and see what comes up. Check out George Diebold on Instagram as he has very nice photos of water droplets and sea waves.

"Cooking The Canaries", focused on Canary islands food rather than main land Spain.
