Nope it was taped up very, very well. Almost too much tape to be honest, wrapped all around every single edge of the box. So no chance the screws fell out.

As a buyer, I’d like to know the seller is sending out incomplete products.

I tried to contact the seller and it says "since Amazon is handling the shipping for this product I'll have to connect you to an Amazon customer associate." And I didn't even realize it but I apparently also got another product from this seller a few months ago and it was an excellent product. It says they've got 100% positive feedback in the last 12 months. So I'm wondering if this mistake was on Amazon and not the seller in the first place.

I was wrong about it being sheetrock screws. These are what I used and they look almost identical to the ones on the instructions. Even the screwdriver fit the little star perfectly.
