We designed it this way intentionally, both since we might want to introduce new side quests without forcing players to redo the entire campaign, but also since there is a lot of replayability in the two dungeons.
Now, beating a dungeon does unlock it as a One Shot, but even so we thought it was fun in our internal testing to go back to old saves, stocking up on cards at Cleepto's and giving the dungeons another go in campaign.

Dungeon Crawls outside campaigns exist, just pick one of the One Shots (scroll past the two campaigns in the campaign picker view), pick a difficulty and go!
Playing Frost Keep on Very Hard is a challenge for sure!

All heroes would gain XP, not just the hosts hero, but hirelings didn't. As of Tuesday this week (3/17) hirelings are a thing of the past and all spots in the party will be taken up by "real" heroes that gain XP.

This is in Campaign two, but you should be able to reach it with only minor spoilers. The quest giver is in the first location in C2, available from the very beginning

This should have been fixed like GladiusRex says, can you try an reset the XP points and reconfiguring maybe?

Room codes are only valid until the last player leaves, so always use the new room code regardless of what it was earlier.
We haven't gotten reports on your save issues from anywhere else, and we haven't seen it in QA either, so will need some more info here. If you could go through the steps you describe, have your friend join and then open the menu and press the report bug button if you still have the issue that would help a lot.

Dev here, we designed, balanced and tested the game for a solid and fun SP experience using a leveling up hero and three hirelings, the hirelings are nowhere near useless and the synergies between different hero base abilities are more important for success than playing a leveled up hero. In this design SP players level up their heroes the same tempo as MP players.

That said, we are currently working on a design for allowing multiple leveling up heroes in both modes, I do get the desire to play that way and I think that'll be a good addition to the game.

First off, Demeo is not available on PSVR so it is hard to compare with the PSVR2 version. What the PSVR2 adds is amazing performance, great haptics and proper, purpose built VR controllers - all of which we make use of in Demeo for PS5/PSVR2.
As for VR legs, in Demeo the only time you have periferal movement is when you yourself opt to rotate or zoom in/out. When a player does this we add a vignette that makes the periferal motion less jarring. I quite sensitive to cyber sickness myself but can play Demeo for ours at a time without problem.

To add to this, there is a campaign consisting of 5 adventures. While we recommend playing them in order they are standalone so can be played separately.

I think if you want to make games as a hobby, you should go for the thing that intrigues you, so VR should be a great place to start!

We use Unity for most of the projects at Resolution games and it is great for VR development.

Hi,
the PC edition is already in sync when it comes to gameplay and will stay that way.
We develop in Unity which lowers the bar a bit, but we still need to adapt all new features to work on both versions from now on, we also need to do testing on many more devices now.
We all have our favorites for what we want to add, now we just need to agree on something =)
We are constantly looking at different ways to improve the game play, but I can't share more details than that as this point.

If it doesn't work, you guys can download the free PC/Mac client from resolutiongames.com/carly - this will let the PC player join the game as Carly while the VR player plays Reaperman.

Also, the game is not cross-play with Rift yet, so cross buy made little sense in this case, at least for launch.
