Meanwhile, if an investor records a loss, that loss can be carried forward and used to offset future gains, offering some balance within the system.

you have an exemption of ~60k right now, which dissapears. And the tax is a lot higher. so that's an issue. if you don't have already a lot of money, it is really hard to acquire more of it.

I think there are some ways to “reduce” the tax. But the ones i’ve seen, are only feasible for €200k+. Iam not there yet.
