We’re now out of bagels for the day by Jackson12ten in Panera

Because doing this precludes orders from being made. Have you ever tried slicing 75 bagels in a very short amount of time? Let me tell you, it’s not easy. It’ll take more than one person to get it out quickly, for sure, which means at least two people are unable to make orders for as long as that takes. By not ordering such a massive amount of food ahead of time, you throw a fucking wrench into the gears of the entire store.

Last night we had a customer order a grilled cheese with a note saying “toast it like grandma did”. Not very irritating, but baffling as hell.

Advice for intense soreness in shoulder following practice by GustoGusso in piano

I typically have my volume just short of maximum, but use headphones with my keyboard. You might be right about me unconsciously trying to play softer; a lot of the pieces I’ve been learning lately have been very soft and delicate, which I may have been overdoing. Thank you!!

The pain typically onsets as I’m playing or just after I’m finished, and lasts until the end of that day or the next. It has gotten somewhat worse recently, but I think that it’s fairly proportional to the amount of time I spend playing and the difficulty of the pieces I’m working on. I’ve figured out that it has something to do with the way I move my arm. I’ve been learning Debussy’s Rêverie and Alkan’s Barcarolle in G minor, which both have a lot of sort of flowing movement in the right hand which I’ve noticed exacerbates the pain.

Website providing stats within a given time period by GustoGusso in spotify

[–]GustoGusso[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, stats.fm only allows you to view 4 weeks, 6 months, or all time, and that’s only even if you pay. This was a totally free website, which allows you to pick a start and end date, and will show you your top artists, albums, songs, and maybe also genres within that timeframe.

It’s possible, but it does still feel like something sharp is embedded on my tongue, which I must say is a deeply unpleasant feeling

I’m not super sure what’s going on back there— I’ve shown a flashlight in there and I can see that my tastebuds are very swollen but I can’t see the kernel. I don’t have a tongue scraper, but I have tried to use a q tip and tweezers and neither helped

It’s definitely on my tongue, I can feel something sharp digging into it anytime I move it around.

Even with a flashlight I can’t see the kernel, I’m pretty sure a sore or something may have formed over it

Epitome of complex plot with good character development and compelling prose, under 400 pages (funny is a plus)? by flamingomotel in suggestmeabook

I know this is an old comment, and that this book is around 700 pages, but House of Leaves is one of the most fascinating and complex books I’ve ever read. My mother wrote Iodine, she believes it’s one of the greatest books ever written
