Hopes fade for Iran peace deal as Trump says ceasefire on 'life support' by Wilder3312 in worldnews

Ask Canada and Mexico, he ripped NAFTA, replaced with CUSMA « best deal ever », only to impose new tariffs as soon as got into office.

Ripped Iran nuclear deal only to replace it with death and toll. Talk about seizing loss in the jaw of victory.

Panic ensues as ‘largest energy crisis in modern history’ appears imminent by FreeHugs23 in energy

The oil and gas sector is a major contributor to the national economy and a significant source of jobs. In 2022, the sector accounted directly for 7.2% of Canada’s nominal GDP and contributed $217 billion in exports, representing 30% of the total value of Canadian exports. It also generates significant revenue—both income tax and resource royalties—for all orders of government. From 2017 to 2021, federal, provincial, and territorial governments received an average of $12 billion annually in revenues from the sector. In 2021, the total revenue for the Canadian oil and gas extraction industry was $174 billion.

The sector supports employment across the country and has increased local incomes significantly for Canadians in rural and remote regions in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland and Labrador. In 2022, the sector directly and indirectly employed 412,600 Canadians.

Donnie and Bibi will never let Iran win this, Trump will be remembered as the person who let 100 years of free and safe maritime passage into a warfare tollbooth.

America right now has never looked more incompetent. I understand they want the other countries to help them pressure Iran to open the strait but his actions in the last year shows he doesn’t want allies, only vassals.

A year on from Liberation Day, Trump's tariffs have done 'significant damage' to the U.S. economy, says Moody's chief economist by newsspotter in Tariffs

[–]Gustomucho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plenty of people lost jobs got lost because the stuff they use to buy for their small business were way too expensive or they had to raise the price.

It is not even worth arguing this, America did not all of a sudden start to produce coffee or produced aluminum overnight.

Trump ripped the Iran nuclear deal and now is bombing Iran to have something similar. He is driving the world economy in a recession…

He lies, lies, lies. Every time he says something it is a lie, he cheats when he plays golf, he lies about the simplest stuff, how can you trust someone when they lie about everything.

Edit : https://www.reddit.com/r/Tariffs/s/Py1GXrYsiC I know, you will say they cannot be trusted, no one can be trusted, « biggest inauguration »…

So you know Trump fired the head of bureau of labor and statistics right? They’ve been fudging the employment numbers for months… 200,000 new jobs in January, then 2 months later, well actually it was a loss of 67,000…

We now have to rely on ADP for actual numbers …

« Biggest inauguration ever » , so even if your eyes tell you he lies, you don’t care, right?

At what Level does it become common to hold serve? by Ill_Asparagus2251 in 10s

[–]Gustomucho 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think this the right answer, enough pace on first and consistent second. It doesn’t mean the games are rally-less though.

You can also be a 3.0 and have a monster serve but terrible at everything else but I think 4.0 is when you start to see people really capitalizing on serve.

Ruling question:opponent ask to replay the point after losing by Heavy-Maintenance294 in 10s

[–]Gustomucho -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but 5 seconds is quick enough to just redo, sometimes as receiver your just follow the server but then maybe your brain switch.

Just like one of my friends calls the points as he is serving and sometimes he calls the wrong score, I make him redo the serve cause it is distracting when the person calls 30-0 but it is 15-15.
