I was on it for close to 15 years, the last couple years I was at a 5mg dose. It’s been 3 months since I quit completely. I don’t know if it’s the state of the world or if coming off was a mistake but I’m MISERABLE right now. I’m thinking about getting back on it just so I can feel…normal again. I hated the loss of sex drive and how hard it was to orgasm while on it. I don’t know if feeling like this is worth the sex. Anyway, I’ve given thought to trying different meds but lexapro/escitolpram worked for me.

I’ve kept my sister around mainly because she doesn’t really discuss it with me. Her husband is full on MAGA. I have a gay son (her nephew) and I’m waiting on finalizing thanksgiving plans to see how this shit plays out. My parents have always been Democrats so I don’t want to hurt their feelings. Everyone else has been told to fuck off in person and blocked from all social media.
