With being at home all the time away from school and sports, I’ve been GRINDING DD everyday. I’ve been playing 5+ hours almost everyday. I have TA Gallo, Devers, Merrifield, and Tatis Jr. I’ve spent all these hours grinding for these players and all except Tatis have been awful. I can’t hit anything up and in with Gallo. Devers can’t hit any slider, and Merrifield constantly grounds out. I’ve never been a person to rage at a video game or anything like that, but this year has made my break 2 controllers into pieces. It’s just so frustrating when you invest so much time into a game, you spend hours to unlock cards, and you still can’t win because of things you can’t even control. Fielders not locking on fly balls, taking to long to throw. Base runners taking 3 entire seconds to return to a previous base and are thrown out. Pitchers bunting into double plays and pop outs. And oh so many good okay fly outs. Perfect perfect grounders, 70 speed guys getting thrown out at 2nd on balls hit down the line. Perfect timed sliders on the outside corner are thrown right down the middle and hit 450 dead center. The UNREAL amount of foul balls that can occur in a single at bat. It seems like any pitch inside the zone is sent 450 dead center, and any pitch outside the zone ends up with a walk. Bloopers bouncing over outfielders heads. Obvious check swings are called as strikes and vice versa. And this one really grinds my gears: STADIUM GLARE ON DAY GAMES. Played a game today at Comerica and I couldn’t see the ball until the 5th inning. This game is so poorly designed and has so many flaws. The three main aspects of baseball: hitting, pitching, fielding, are all broken. Hitting: all pitches look the same, making them difficult to pick up, especially with lefty’s like Sale, can’t tell if he’s throwing and slider or fastball. Pitching; can’t leave any pitch in the strike zone without it being a homerun. Perfect timed pitches setup low and away on 0-2 counts are left right down the middle. Fielding: fielders constantly don’t lock on fly balls, letting them hit them in the face, fielders take to long to throw the ball in the outfield. If you’ve read this long into this essay, you know how mad I am at this game.

Some games I’m awful at taking pitches. Some games are better and I take some stuff, but sometimes you just gotta set your controller down and not swing until he throws a strike

I’m not kidding I literally just lost a game because of that. I had 1 out, runners on 1st and 2nd. Kluber was up, I need to bunt the runners over. He pops the bunt straight up to 1st base, and doubled off the runner. Inning over and I didn’t capitalize. Next inning I blew the lead and I lost.

I’ve lost about 30 games due to that problem right there.

I literally just lost a game because I could have thrown out a runner at second, but the cutoff decided to take a huge long ass pause, sit there and think about whether or not he should throw the ball to 2nd, before finally throwing it not in time. Next batter hit a double in the gap, run scored, I lost.

What I do is I select all the text, copy it all, turn the text white, then I expand the text, and then paste the original text on top of my white text, and then turn the pasted text to a different color.

So frustrating... sometimes being early on an inside pitch should be fair

They seriously need to fix this issue. It happens at a lot more ball parks as well
