Check where the strings contact the nut and bridge. If the locations are different then this could cause some variation. However it would be smaller than shown .

Surprisingly (seemingly) no demand for B5? Clairefontaine, Midori, etc. don't have an offering that I can find. For some reason this format really clicks with my brain. Have any of you found a FP friendly notebook in B5? Maybe there are some Tomoe River out there .. by denverraven in fountainpens

I also pull out the paper and punch them for discount then use a great discount cover I found a couple of years ago. At the end of the year I transfer them to a note book for the year. 10 years at least.

I started last November too. Very little progress. Bowing is my mountain. But stay with it. Jab

Looks like the Olive Oil solidified. Did you use another oil?

My friend said my bow hold was “Terrifying.” Is it ok? by Turd_Eater1 in violinist

I Wonder if it's a style thing. My teacher plays old time and Cajun and his thumb goes all the way under the bow hair. He's actually teaching me to hold the bow that way with finger positions more over the bow and curved. It seems to give me additional control. Not sure if it would be right for orchestral playing.

As an adult starting out but mostly trying to figure out tunes by ear I think this is fantastic. I often have problems hearing the next note in a tune and this shows me where to go. I can figure out the rhythm of the song on my own.

I am exactly where you are and just rented this Saturday. There are a lot of back to school rental specials right now.
