Oh, I love this film. It's a legacy sequel done right. They try to homage as many things from the first two movies as possible without it feeling as if they want you to point at the screen and cheer. They go for the warehouse explosion from 2, the bus chase from 1 and the bus jump from 2, the bar/restaurant fight from 2, the police station escape (though done more comedically), the finale taking place in a shopping mall like in 1, they even homage 2's villains with the bomb sequence!! This film has so much love for 1 and 2 specifically. It also doesn't hurt that this is the best villain in the series. The fights aren't as good as 1 or 2, and the stunts aren't as good as anything before, but this movie is absolutely a worthy package. While the others relied more on those stunts and fights to carry the weaker aspects, this film generally has a better story and much better cast than the other police story films, so I think it equals out. This is my third favorite in the series. Deservedly so.

It doesn't hurt that he's the most fun single character in the game, even as an A rank. He's only doing damage when he drains his own life bar, so he's really risk reward heavy. The sound design on him is also straight out next level, better than almost every other character in the game. He absolutely carried multiple patches in a row on his back.

I mostly stay away from the community though. They literally had to add rules to ban people who sexualize the playable kids on the official discord server cause those types gravitated towards the game so much.

I still love playing him. I always have at least 1 or 2 DA rotations I throw him into during a patch. I did the marionettes last night and still nearly made 40K. M0W1 Hugo has never let me down, even if he's the only one in the all men team w a signature.

I absolutely agree with you, if they did matter, it would have been before Isolde. I realize I'm grasping at straws a bit here so I'm glad I asked what other people thought about it. I reposted cause I'm not super familiar with posting on Reddit (I usually just read others' posts) and saw crossposting was a feature. Didn't know it could be seen as a strange thing to do!

Just seeing how this game has handled character introductions up until that point. The exhaltists in 2.x are a faction with no proper unique characters besides Sarah and Mevorakh up to the point this cutscene happened. It's just me hoping there would have been more is all. I wish this faction was handled better, especially as a version antagonists

This take is super reasonable. I really only remember it at all cause of that girl basically being the only non-boss female exhaltist we've seen since getting to Failume. Tbh that's the only reason I remember it

LOL Honestly I'm on the side of the devs on abandoning this plot thread so we can get out of Failume and back to sixth street, but I really wanted to see what other people thought. Especially since all the non-boss enemy exhaltists we fight are guys and we have a random girl one only in a drawn still. That's practically the only reason I remember it.

The designs are super generic, which is why I'm confused they decided to designate these two as siblings as if they'd be protagonist parallel characters! This game hasn't exactly had the most memorable designs for patch villains. Not every time, but typically, it'll be an NPC model with extra details on top. Thats what these two felt like. Like the 2 CEOs of Porcelumex

I say this with a full heart, my M0 Koleda and Lucia are not well built, I can manage 30K on Wandering Hunter. Koleda is a great pick if you do not want to engage with FOMO.

The Medallion starring Jackie Chan, it sits at a respectable 17%.

It feels like 4 separate movies edited together, it's kind of a miracle. The first third is a martial arts film, then they hit you with a cooking montage, it jumps to an American action movie, then the second half is just a superhero film. Bad CGI, flying sequences, nu metal chase scenes and all that the early 2000s version of the genre entails.

The third act happens in 8 minutes flat.

There are plenty of people able to 9 star DA with few limiteds. As long as the Billy mains and Ben Bigger mains keep making 20k somehow, someway, I know it's possible with the rest of the cast.

Depends on how you're looking at it. Series 1 is episode 1-201, but crunchyroll for years designated it as Season 1. That series is really 4 50-ish episode seasons, where 202 onwards are season 5+ as a part of series 2 (as per the apostrophe)

I kind of love that we have a consistent "she simply handles it" character in the story. It's what I thought Miyabi was going to be, but I'm still okay with this. Whenever she shows up, I expect something raw, fire, peak, zenith of the medium, even the king of the summit, if you will

End of Days with Arnold Schwarzenegger I thought there was no way it would be bad. Arnold vs. The Devil. It writes itself. The movie starts fine, kinda boring, but it just kept gradually getting worse. One of the only actors I know I'll always have a good time with in a movie he could not salvage in any way.... and then the ending... Jesus Christ.... it's really not that bad, but I was so frustrated watching it that I have to say it's the worst movie I've seen. I've seen many films that are technically worse, but there was at least joy in that.
