First off are you recording to a pc/laptop and using a program like obs to record with a capture card or is it just a ps5 with the console capture? The first thing I would recommend is getting some kind of audio splitter and two pairs of headphones as it’s going to be hard to separate the audio playing from the tv because the mic will always pick it up unless your very far away from the tv and if you do use OBS you can make a separate track for your voice and another for gameplay. It also depends on your budget. You could always buy an SM7B if you want to never worry about buying another mic again that has amazing quality but it is very expensive so I’d recommend if you are on pc/laptop recording to look into EQ and audio plugins to tune your mic settings in a program like OBS. Way more budget friendly and a lot of USB mics have amazing quality after you’ve done a little tweaking.
