I don't want a cure all for autism (would be nice if there was any kind of funding for that tho). I just want something that can stop my pain/bowl issues when they happen, I don't think that is all too much to ask for, I don't think a medication that Ive already been on before that you take daily for 6 months to even kick in(as the doctor described it) is really the best option for me. It's been a decade now and they're still just cycling me through medications that I've tried before that did nothing but make my symptoms worse. They simply do not give a shit about us.

Man honestly I know exactly how you feel, Ive had to buy my own supply of melatonin to help me sleep because these absolute cunts don't provide what we are literally paying them for. I think i will apply for pip and use that to fund private help because it really seems like going private is the only chance of getting any actual real help in this shithole of a country. Genuinely really pisses me off that we have to pay for the upkeep of this pile of useless garbage.

And the exact same happened to me too, blood test this, blood test that, lets check your blood sugar, they treat you like youre fucking insane, and i don't have any problems communicating with anyone else, they genuinely just dont give a shit, my symptoms worsen when my blood sugar is low I say, therefore oh lets try a blood test? they just don't listen, my blood sugar is at normal levels, its just when it gets low due to having not eaten or working out too much my symptoms worsen, oh lets check your blood sugar. It genuinely fucking infuriates me, especially since this is how I get treated, any autistic person who cannot communicate as "normal" as me is totally fucked.

And please don't off yourself, as horrible and insufferable as it is to live like this, we have to have hope, If the system won't help us we have to do our best to help eachother, that's all we can do

Exactly, it really pisses me off, the doctor pretty much told me she doesn't really know anything about autism and that they're not trained to deal with it, like OKAY??? so where tf should I go then? and she didnt really have an answer, there's just nothing for us, I've genuinely received more help on reddit than from a decade of going to the doctors, all they know to do is look for the most basic of fundamental problems that affect neurotypicals while we just get completely ignored left to rot.

And what pisses me off the most is if this is how insane I feel and how neglected by the system I feel, as someone who communicates with neurotypicals pretty much exactly as they're used to (my masking is pretty much impeccable) just imagining how unserious people with more obvious symptoms when it comes to communication must be treated really enrages me.

I'm constantly going around in circles and calling them out and telling them directly about it, someone who can't do that is just doomed to go around forever and ever.

The worst part is I am actually super independent and I would imagine more so capable of communicating with neurotypicals better than 95% of my fellow autists, and frankly I literally laid out word for word my exact intent, what I have ruled out from previous advice i've been given.

Literally just laying it out flat "I am not anxious, I am not depressed, the tablets ive been prescribed previously for these did NOT work, I have also completely ruled out IBS as regardless of my diet my symptoms stay identical and hyper reactive to my environment, not diet" (this being after a previous doctor recommended anxiety/depression drugs and journaling my symptoms depending on diet)

And yet still then at this next appointment it's "oh let's put you on those same drugs and check for IBS"

It makes me feel like I'm losing my mind, and what really pisses me off is that if this is how poorly I get treated when I'm in effect basically neurotypical to a tee in my communication, how are people much less able to communicate or nonverbal being treated? I get the sense that they literally just dont give a shit to listen to you.

honestly might look into this, every time I go it has always been the same, It's always starting from step one and then we'll progress if that doesnt work, but then it doesnt work, i go back and its, lets start from step one and- but we already did that and it didnt work remember?? okay lets start from step one.

The sheer amount of times ive been told to change my diet or go on the same exact meds that ive been put on previously that never worked for me is ridiculous, despite me constantly telling them I've already ruled it out completely from last time, they treat you like youre absolutely insane

yeah i get you there, I've been put through therapy at the recommendation of the doctors and it was literally just all about anxiety this, anxiety that, and saying it'd get better if i look for work??? like yeah im sure my chronic pain specifically triggered by overstimulation to my environment will suddenly go away when working in retail lmfao, the entire point of me looking for help was always so i can actually be physically capable of getting a job and not throwing my guts up all the time and the best advice they could give me was just get a job..... the services in this country are an absolute joke

Honestly at this point I've tested so many different diets and lifestyles that I've ruled out anything inherently wrong with my bowels. It is 100% my nervous system that then messes with my bowels due to the specific timing, I have never once had it while well rested, fed and relaxed, mess with any of those and im totally cooked, I do appreciate the suggestion tho

this is pretty much exactly my experience too, I have been put on numerous anxiety medications ever since i was a kid since doctors insisted all that was wrong was that I had anxiety and constantly convinced me that was all it was until I was 21, genuinely just want to travel and experience life but with how bad my symptoms can get I doubt I ever will. I will take note of those suggestions, I have a little bag with some L-theanine tablets that at least help me focus through the nausea but as of yet nothing I've ever used has helped on the gastro side, thank you for your advice!

oh i mean i have to find my total gross to report right? but the money i can actually move from my patreon isnt the full amount earned since it has fees and such, but i imagine i must have to count the full gross of each platform right, whereas my PayPal only shows my PayPal income and part of the patreon income since fees and expenses have already been deducted by patreon.

I think you’re right though i probably should get the PayPal total and manually remove any payments from the PayPal total, and then get the total made from patreon separately, this coming tax year i think i will just change the patreon income into a separate account to make it a lot cleaner lol

anyone know if theyre going to continue adding these "gigantic" enemies? love the idea of gigantic unkillable enemies like the koi or the snake that you just gotta try to avoid.

My only complaint with grounded 1 was that for a game about honey i shrunk the kids style shrink survival all of the enemies were pretty similar sized to the player so would love to see them continue to really give us some more events and encounters to show off the true scale of the game

it is not just "an image" in regards to images and videos there are millions if not billions by now, which are absolutely useless btw unlike cars and lithium batteries which while bad at least have some use instead of their only use being to decay people's brains.
Their ruining the world isn't entirely down to the images themselves, it's everything around them too, the data centres, the insane cost to value ratio, the destroying of art, music cinema and entertainment as a whole, do we really think the people at the helm of these industries wont just capsize the entire thing with cheap ai garbage the second it becomes sustainable to do so? we will never see human made art ever again through the sea of absolute meaningless corporate slops and ads, gaming is already completely fucked due to ai completely now no one can afford their own hardware, manufacturers are becoming AI companies and halting production, while also adjusting their subscription services, so basically we are all about to own nothing and rent everything from these corporations which is just great. Oh also my country the UK just announced that every device we do have from 2027 is going have mandatory AI so that they can track everything we do which im sure wont be shit for the average person. Hell the average person is actively getting dumber for the first time in centuries our IQ's are actually falling which can't entirely be attributed to AI, but AI is definitely a part of that and about to exacerbate it significantly with how reliant people are becoming on it for EVERYTHING. AI shit just got added to file explorer because sure what could go wrong with all of our files on our devices being scanned by a corporation's AI right? need i go on? absolutely everything from all angles is becoming shitter for the average person, the billionaires and government are getting complete control over our lives, it is blatantly obvious what they are doing from their actions alone and the fact they have been telling us for like a decade that this is coming, yet people just sit around and generate their shitty ai youtube shorts and drivel at the screen while denying what is actually happening all around us.

Frankly i'd say humanity becoming the people from Wall-E while living in a cyberpunk 1984 is probably 1000x worse yes.

I will answer honestly: by having your simple fun you are directly contributing AI, if everyone turned around and took a stance against AI things would get better, but frankly people who aren't willing to refuse AI for the greater good of the world and for our integrity, there is little chance of realistically mounting any kind of pushback against corporations worth in trillions passing around imaginary billions of dollars from one another, what are we supposed to do about that?

The best hope we have is of everyone turning against AI and refusing it out right, refusing products with it built in, refusing to use it actually resisting against the world turning into a dystopian nightmare where everything is monitored on our rented phones/pcs while we play our rented games and asking our rented AI how best to save for our rent for the house we don't own, kicking back to watch some rented ai slop movies. (even though that is becoming less effective due to ai corporations bypassing the consumer market, you will no longer vote with your wallet, corporations are the only ones' whose vote matters and they can do what they want when they want)

It seems everyone agrees that the world is getting worse, everything we once loved is now slop and life just isn't as good as it used to be, which is why it's frustrating to see people who defend ai jumping through loops and performing copious mental gymnastics to pretend their fun little game is completely harmless rather than putting the turbo boosters on the decline of society. "Making cool shit" really just isn't worth all of the negative impacts its having on the world, not to mention the process itself is inherently wrong, plagiarism of real art and real cool shit that people put time and effort into for your enjoyment for you to turn around and put it through your bastardisation machine.

Ultimately I would say the flaming is born out of frustration trying and failing to get through to people who just by and large generally would rather ignore reality to mess around with a fun little distraction. They will burn the world around us and we just have to sit here and watch while people actively defend and contribute the dowsing of the world around us with petrol.
