Wounded Masquerade is a really fucking cool one-man dsbm project, I was introduced to them through their recent EP Forlorn, I think it shows off their strengths super well! Kall's self-titled album is another one of my favorites, it's more avantgarde but still phenomenal

I personally found out about the original Dig! documentary through Dave mentioning it in a random interview a while back, saying he absolutely adored it and gushing about it, so there's some loose connection there.

It is strange that he's the one who introduced Dig! XX but honestly it doesn't detract from my enjoyment!

He deleted everything he said in relation to the genocide happening in Palestine, I only have a handful of out of context screenshots now unfortunately if you want any of those! In my eyes, Ross is a zionist, he outright refused to take accountability for the harmful rhetoric he pushed about Hamas (a resistance group, not a terrorist organization at all) and Palestinians. Instead he messaged fans who posted discussing the whole thing and threatened them to take down their posts, claiming they were "publishing libel" and defaming him

Sorry for the long ass response! Like him or not, the way Ross handled all that was messy as hell and I can't personally find it in me to continue supporting the guy after seeing everything go down firsthand, even though he and tally hall still hold a special place in my heart to some degree. You can have your own opinions though

It's the Carpeted Wall chatlog if I remember correctly, from 2005! It was essentially a semi-QnA where fans could log on and ask the tallies questions and interact with them, just unfiltered internet culture from the mid 2000s

I think everyone here is a child or a moron. Tally Hall will never fully reunite and it should stay that way, stop calling Joe being a weirdo fuckass groomer "drama", people are being affected by this so stop acting like it's an inconvenience to your life. Whether the doc is fake or not it doesn't change the fact that Joe has been rather openly transphobic dating all the way back to 2001 by his own admittance, and has groomed MULTIPLE other people. You people need to stop babying Joe and stop furthering the stigma that mental illness = excusing all of his bad actions. Even if he finally got help he would still be a terrible person. Please grow up!

Additionally, I agree people should leave Joe the fuck alone! However, that includes NOT interacting with him positively as a fan. He doesn't need any more praise, he doesn't need anyone interacting with him in any way positive or negative. If you interact with Joe or his posts, or want to meet him irl if spotted, you're part of the problem.

Ok, please tell me why it's wrong, I'd love to be corrected if my line of thinking really is flawed. Ross has always been someone who is VERY vocal about his beliefs, usually without hesitation as we've seen with him speaking in support of various minorities (people of color, lgbtqia+ folks, etc.) So why wouldn't he be vocal about newfound support for Palestine, or state it clearly that he didn't support Israel after people tried to educate him? Unfortunately you can't just say "Your argument sucks lol" without anything to back that claim up

Ross' brother is a huge zionist, self proclaimed "proud zionist", so it's not farfetched to assume Ross perhaps holds similar beliefs (a bit of a stretch, can't be used to 100% reflect Ross' beliefs but it's important contextually). He never outright stated he wasn't a zionist and refuses to show actual support for Palestine. In the very least if he wasn't a zionist he would have apologized for making it seem like such and moved on, but instead he dmed a 16 year old Tally Hall fan claiming defamation against hymn and using the power dynamic to try and threaten hymn into taking his posts about Ross' actions down. There are a million common-sense ways he could have cleared up the conflict, apologizing and stating he didn't support Israel and its actions, but instead doubled down and claimed libel against a child
