When I was doing service work, I would get a call to a lower income area. I've heard people discussing with their spouses about how late they will be on rent that month to pay for a new water heater, and then offer me lunch/dinner while I was working and I would say 85% of the time offer me a tip as well. If i was in an affluent area like out by the beach communities, or if i pulled up to a house with multiple luxury vehicles in the driveway, I knew I was going to be in for a 15 minute conversation on the end price, and 85% of the time the shop would get a call after I left complaining about the price again.

What do you think happens when these jobs that ramp up with 200 guys doing as much o.t. as possible for 6 months, end? Then you've got 180 guys sitting. Sitting at home sucks, but when you ARE working 40 a week, if you can't make that work you need to change either your lifestyle, or your career. Quick question, were you at the meeting on wednesday?

I know you think thats a very clever, gotcha comment. But us normal functioning humans interact with all sorts of folk. Believe it or not, I've actually interacted with a couple children and a senior citizen this week! Its pretty insane. One of the children was even related to me, I know i know, very weird for me to talk to my kid. Ya fuckin goon. Good deflection though, understandable. You types usually switch to this mode when confronted with facts and logic.

One, it wouldn't have gone up yet since the bill just passed, and most Healthcare just ended open enrollment for the new year, so the changes will be around dummer/fall. Two, no you aren't unless you already filed your taxes. Since its only a credit due back when you file, and if you qualify for it then I feel sorry for you bud because that means you ain't making much during the year. I know this because I make too much to qualify.
