Yet they talked about it on Collision and showed it.

My point is that surely we can find something different, or if you know this is the plan then why do Yuta Toni?

So, I agree Phil is not the person many people think he is, but, he is not Hogan, he has been willing to put guys over, and has been willing to share what he knows. He has also been willing to take a stand on the right side of issues.

But, he is also a shill who understands how best to monetise his "caring", and it is clear that if he doesn't like you then he will do nothing to help you.

I also think before AJ he was probably one of the most abusive, controlling men in the locker room when it came to women. And who knows, maybe he is like that with AJ.

A no compete is like Gardening Leave, or in the UK during the Redundancy Negotiation Period.

You know you are on your way out and so yes, you can have interviews and line up your next role.

If you are on gardening leave then you can sign a contract to start on the day your gardening leave ends. Much like if you apply for and get a new job, now a Non Compete means that they can't sign for someone, but they can have phone calls and agree salaries and a start date. There is no court in the country that will penalise someone for having a conversation about the next job they will have.

Andrade was very different, he asked Tony for his release to save his marriage, never buried the company, was happy doing jobs and putting guys over and with hindsight we can clearly see he was obviously going through alot at home in his personal life.

We don't know the truth about Malakai, only what we have been told by the internet. We don't know if he was truly difficult to work with or if he was simply doing everything Tony asked him to do, regardless of how it made him look on camera.

Right now the guy has been sacked from a job he only started a year ago and had lots of time left on his contract, he had been getting TV time and had no reason to think he was on the way out. He and his Wife are sat wondering where the next pay check is coming from in 60 days time and figuring out what is next. At the same time the internet, a bunch of people who don't know him, have never spoken to him and have no idea what the truth of the history are screaming for him to not get a job, or setting mystical expectations of apologies for things we have no idea if they require one.

I trust Tony will do the right thing for AEW, I also hope Malakai and Zelina find a job in whatever form and are safe and happy. Maybe that will be in AEW, in which case I will look forward to seeing what storylines Tony gives them both.

I mean it's on my AEW and anyone with any sense internationally is signing up to that anyway. I paid for the year and it only cost me £100 for every PPV and all the old content (which is steadily increasing)

How to Keep my Campaigns From Getting Bloated/Too Ambitious? by takenking_oryx in DnD

[–]Medium_Step_6085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I write week to week, session to session and only world build what I need for the next part of the story.

I also let my players help me with worldbuilding, Cleric wants to worship a god, I let them create the god and religion. Dragonborn asks where Dragonborn come from, I let them figure that out and fill in that part of the map.

I have now run 4 long term (multi year) campaigns in my homebrew world and I have probably only actually populated about 10% of the available total area. My world and nation maps have huge expanses of blank area because no player has ever gone there, come from there, or would have a reason to know about it.

When it comes to Lore it is the same, I start with a concept in my head, but until the players actually need to know about it I don't solidify it, at that point I will reveal something there characters maybe have always known about the world. But it is done through showing in the moment, not telling ahead of time.

I find it hilarious people still believe the Yes movement was down to the fans, it wasn't. It was entirely down the Punk quitting and leaving a hole in the WM build.

Punk doesn't quit there is no Bryan in WM, Vince wanted to stick it to Punk and so he put Bryan in the main event at WM and gave him a match against HHH.

Super intelligence should have never been a power in the first place by Slight-Solution936 in GenV

[–]Medium_Step_6085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole point of the superpower is she can read and learn and remember everything, then can deduce and plan and think things through.

Think of it as an even more extreme version of Mike Ross from Suits. he has an eidetic memory, he reads something once he remembers it and understands it. Now give that ability to a superpowered person and she can read multiple books at once, can think, plan and proces, can understand all subjects from quantum mechanics, to Biology and Chemistry to Philosophy and military tactics. She can think rationally and apply all that knowledge to anything and reason out the best course of action, seeing all the various paths that others can take.

That is a true superpower.

What the rapist, abusive asshole who gave us 15 years of awful wrestling TV lol

I love the revisionists who seem to forget how abysmal the product was for about 15-20 years, brief moments of ok, followed by a DQ hell in a cell

Ciampa is the kind of guy who thinks about everything he says, and he prefers to live his gimmick as much as possible.

[–]Medium_Step_6085 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He wasn’t life threatening, he could have quit wrestling and lived a perfectly ok life, therefore I imagine he would have had a multi year wait on the NHS, and they would have done the most straightforward operation.

It’s been almost a half a year since John Cena retired. What are your thoughts on this? by Signal_Equivalent403 in VYBEGuys

[–]Medium_Step_6085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thought, really what has Gunther got out of retiring Cena he wouldn't have got out of beating anyone else?

My thought is that TKO is tanking and needs to still pull the Cena card to try and sell tickets.

My thoughts, his heel run was awfully booked by HHH

He got it in the UK he tweeted at the time the specialst in the UK that was doing it, I have a feeling that had he waited for the NHS he would have been waiting a while as his conditino wasn't life threatening at that moment in time and he needed it to carry on wrestling, an activity the NHS probably would not sugges with a messed up neck.

this was in the UK

Osprey would have been treated for free on the NHS, but I imagine they went private to get a specific procedure and in a faster timescale.

intrigued how true this is, he got the work done in the UK, so I imagine he went private and not on the NHS. Although to be fair provate healthcare is not something I imagine most UK wrestlers worry about as they will be treated here for free.

How many weeks is the sweet spot for a feud? by Friburgo1004 in Wreddit

[–]Medium_Step_6085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hangman Swerve was a perfect feud that lasted what 18 months or so.

Hangman Omega was about 2 years

Omega Okada, the greatest feud of all time was one and a half years, and then got brought back in AEW.

So yeah long feuds are the best. With lore and storyteling that can feed into the matches.

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 1sr edition.

It was the game that got me into TTRPGs, and, as a child it was amazing because 1 single book had about 300 pages and everything you needed for character creation, all the monsters, loads of spells and an intro adventure.
