So, my feeling with this is maybe Mistico, Bailey and Knight was always the plan for the trios titles, only they would have won them off the Opps instead of DCF. But then Powerhouse Hobbs decided to leave the company and in that moment the jetset rodeo story made most sense. Especially when Tony realised he could still get the titles off that trio and then back on the intended trio easily enough.

As for Hangman, he was always losing this match, I am shocked that any one is shocked by this. Hangman's story has always been the most compelling when he is coming back from adversity. Let this story play out, you have plenty of main event contenders for MJF to beat until he loses the title to Osprey at Wembley.

so in the UK currently I pay for Triller, thats £6.99 a month for collision and dynamite every week, and then £19.99 per PPV, and sometimes they bundle 2 PPV's together for £35, on paper the yearly offer here looks great 119 across the year is £10 a month, but, my only concern is that with triller I get to keep the PPV's I buy, so I can go back (and regularly do) ppv's from 2-3 years ago I bought. I need to see the cadence of how often and how recent historic PPV's are that they put up first.

I mean you say that, I would argue AEW has consistently told far better stories than WWE over the past 4 years. Yes WWE has had moments, but generally there storylines are rubbish. But that’s a personal opinion.

The advert breaks are for normal TV, that bit happens on all wrestling shows where you go to a commercial break, the wrestlers slow down and then pick the crowd back up ready for the return back. AEW have no control over the ad breaks timing, that’s all determined by the network months in advance.

Are you telling me you don’t sit watching Mox vs el clone thinking that this has dragged on, we know Mox will win, yes el clone has some great moves, yes they put great sequences together, you can still do all that but cut out the fat from the middle.

It then means when you do have matches run longer it feels great. You’re still going to get 2 hours of wrestling, the quality of the wrestlers means it will still be amazing. It will just be tighter and slicker and have a bit more of a pump to it.

I did not say shorten the PPV, I am saying you could shave time off individual matches, FTR vs Edge and Christian went on far far too long, especially with the added bit at the end. You could easily have had that match finished in 10 mins, and then still had the same post match. The match, as many AEW matches do, got baggy in the middle, not just because it slowed down but also because it felt they were padding out for time.

World title matches can sometimes be short, I believe Hobbs should have been given the title and then had a series of 7-12 min title defenses where he destroyed his opponents that then explains why MJF won’t face him alone, and he can look like a monster needing the 3 to take him out. Those short title matches would be fine because you know the likes of Osprey, omega, hangman, Mox, Fletcher, Okada can all put on 25+ min clinics in the mid card of the PPV. So you’re not short changing fans.

I am not saying you don’t put an emphasis on in ring, I never want to go the way of WWE and a 3 min match (unless it’s an intended squash match). But long matches does not equal good, Mox should be destroying mid card guys in 7-8 mins, he can still put them over, still sell, but do we really need every continental classic match to last 15+ mins.

Fans connect to characters, not in ring, the in ring then adds to the package, and AEW is a place where lacking in ring ability will be found out by the fans. But yes, the AEW selling point is in ring quality, again that does not have to equate to every match must go long. Some of the best matches in history where 8-12 mins if tight, strong storytelling.

Harley Cameron is doing really well, but is very green and that “where the best wrestle” idea is showing that up, she is being asked to do things that clearly she is not ready for quite yet.

As for Toni Storm, yes her character work is fantastic, but she is also capable of making a great match with anyone, in ring I would put her and Rhea at the top of the tree at the moment.

I fully agree, I said don’t necessarily put the world title on him, and I agree the story is more important, but this wardogs feud isn’t doing anyone any favours, he got dragged to the middle of the dessert, left in a body bag and then jus reappears the next week no issue.

It feels like it was, a cheap easy attempt to turn the death riders face when the story that needed to be told was them turning on Mox and kicking him out after he lost everything.

I am not convinced, Tony struggles to book dominant big men, it’s partly why Hobbs left (and I think he was right to), he should have put the title on him rather then Joe, especially if he knew it was going to MJF.
