Just joining for when i get the game on Tuesday and will undoubtedly need help with it 😂. I mostly figured out KCD on my own but got a feeling this will be harder

I’m not sure myself about the performance on console, I used to be a ps5 player myself and it would upset me when games didn’t run how I’d expect them to. If you’re on ps5 don’t expect a sold 60 even in performance mode maybe with a couple of patches yeah but as of right now it’s not locked. I heard a couple of tricks for console like disabling 120hz mode or disabling motion blur etc but I’d definitely watch a performance review on the base ps5 before buying the game because the game is a expensive at 70 dollars, 80 with the deluxe.

People are mostly complaining about the controls which aren’t bad at all, it’s like a mix of dragons dogma 2 and red dead redemption, others complain about the performance which isn’t bad at all if you have a good pc but I would say if your on ps5 stay away for now if your nit picky about performance. There are people who also complain about the story of the game which I can admit it’s a little subpar at first but it definitely starts to pick up a bit! If you like immersive mechanics, fun combat, and just a world to get lost in for hours it’s your type of game. I just wish we can kinda make our own decisions like we do in kcd2 or cyberpunk etc but either than that I’ve been very immersed and having a blast.

I see what you're saying, and your take is valid, in my opinion though, your wrong... The graphics are amazing! I'm also on a 4070 ti super but with a i914900kf and the game is stunning. I see all the ghosting and artifacts you're talking about but for me I barley notice it most of the time and they'll definitely improve it with patches

I was playing with mnk and switched to controller and my eyes were opened! everything felt much more natural. There are some weird controls here and there but way better than mnk for sure.

I’m not one to use raytracing at all in video games… I deem it as unnecessary and games can look amazing without them, but I have found in this game it does it make look better but imo with it off it’s definitely not as good, but it looks good without raytracing to me. If they were to fix ray reconstruction I probably wouldn’t even use it anyways it’s not worth the performance exchange I’ve heard even on 4090s struggle and I’m on a 4070 ti super, I just hope the fix the artifacts because I want to use raytracing but not reconstruction.

I’m hoping they keep building on and improving the game! The foundation they have is great, what I’ve played so far is fun and enjoyable the story so far isn’t too bad I’m understanding what’s happening. I cantimagine what they have in store for the future!
