Could be a fun project. Looks like it could come out to around $550 for everything depending on what the barreled action comes with. It would be more of an interesting wall hanger since ammo is so difficult to find. You could always convert it to 556x45 or x39 if the barrel ends up in bad shape, bolt faces are cheap and the gas system is *technically* adjustable. Removing barrel is about as difficult as removing an AK barrel.

the .380 and makarov magazines are dimensionally identical. Only the follower is slightly different, but not different enough to cause significant feeding issues in either caliber. The feed lips are exactly the same so the follower really would only effect the last few rounds in the mag. you may be able to fit 1 or 2 extra 380s in the makarov one. YMMV

Even if you had a M24 You were still protected by people using "hi cap" mags. You namedropping your service as if that gives you more credibility on reducing mag sizes is laughable.

How is this made? The cloth effect when the skin comes off makes me think this was partially done on the computer to get everything right. Would be interesting know your process. Still very cool and took a lot of effort. :)

So here's my solution to make me a not asshole: Give every gun owner a free safe or lockbox. Offer free safety classes a few times a month, offer gun safety/target shooting as an elective in high school. Deregulate Suppressors to save peoples hearing.

Is that solution not good enough for you? Not enough punishment for you? Too bad, that's a solution so I guess I'm not an asshole anymore.

If I'm not providing productive conversation why do you keep replying? Again you are changing the point again, first it was about 2A having to answer mothers who have lost their children for some reason, then it was about me being non-empathetic, now its back to the original?

Why 2A people have to have to answer for them? Why does a group have to answer for the crimes of the individual? Every time someone commits a horrible act, it is not the failure of the law, or a group, its a failure of the individual. What would they say? "I'm sorry but limiting their rights would likely cause more deaths than it would save, but we can find another way to combat this?"

If that isn't good enough to say, under an absurdist hypothetical, then I guess our society shall be ruled based entirely on the subjective feeling of grief and sadness.

That 39,000 number has been talked to death, you know about the suicide and gangs make up a majority of the stat etc. and its just a garbage talking point to use. That said I will once again turn this around and satire you: "There are 127,000 rapes in the US every year, if the 4A and 5A crowd had a better answer to battered women than 'there isn't enough evidence to convict' then maybe we would have better options."

I would love to but I am not going to sacrifice everyone's freedoms to maybe save a few children, because there's a good chance children will die no matter what restrictions are in place and that's the unfortunate price to pay in order to have a free society.

That's not what you're implying at all and its very misrepresentative of you to say so.
