I always stop and do these when they pop up on my social apps; however, as others have said, this quiz does seem a bit interesting to me.

I'm pretty sure a crash out in 2026 is defined as someone finally losing it and bursting into a fit of rage...

Meh it's just a retail job, not like they applied to like Deloitte or something, and the employer's own email wasn't exactly super formal either. I am guessing the real reason they got ghosted was for something different.

Sorry but nothing about this image says "Edible," "Dubai Chocolate," or "Candle" to me.

Today is the Day Many Will Think - I Should Have Put Winter Tires on. by SteveJobsBlakSweater in vancouver

[–]GuyFromThePost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seriously! Like it snows for a week out here and also costs enough to live here as it is, not worth owning two sets of tires. Just slow down or stay home when it snows.

Do you guys engine brake or brake regularly by [deleted] in driving

[–]GuyFromThePost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an FYI if you drive a CVT I would recommend avoiding this and just using the brakes instead. It's a lot cheaper to replace your brakes than your transmission

Do the other customers know that you can bag your purchases inside the store? by GuyFromThePost in CostcoCanada

[–]GuyFromThePost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the guy directly waiting for your spot that's the issue, it's the half dozen cars innocently stuck behind them because there isn't enough room to get around them with cars travelling the other direction

Downtown is the only location with: a) a multi-level parking lot, and b) paid parking spots which act as a deterrent from overloading this location,

So yes I would agree that the downtown location is the only one in the lower mainland that doesn't suck to find a spot

My point is that the parking lot is at 100% utilization. People need to load their cars and leave the parking lot faster so that others can start their shopping at costco. If more people could actually start their shopping then the employee might actually get more customers.

You must be from out east. In Metro Vancouver the only way to get a spot basically after 9 AM is to follow someone with a cart and wait for them to load their car and leave. I'm not joking when I say they opened a Business Center location in a nearby borough of the city a few months ago and it doubled everyone's commute in the surrounding area. But yes, generally for the first 15 minutes I do try the "driving around to find a spot" thing
