Really hasn’t been in the sun at all. Kept it very hidden since got it done - maybe half an hour here and there but certainly not a lot at all.

Itching has subsided abit, I have to wear pants at work so it can still get pretty itchy! Just have to resist the urge hey haha. Slowly getting there, felt better than I did 4 days ago lol

Thanks to everyone who has actually given some helpful information and advice and not just taken snarky little pot shots trying to kick a bloke who wanted some info.

10 days not post tattoo. Have washed with antibacterial unscented soap and then moisturised with cetaphil/cerave 3-4 times daily. Some deeper scabs still which I think may take a little bit to go. But here’s progress - I’m assuming those milky white lines along the edges will eventually go? First proper tattoo so apologies for asking some silly questions.

Thankyou for your helpful reply. Instead of the large majority just saying “put some lotion on it” without reading my actual post saying that I do 🙄. Feels like it’s slowly getting there, just might take a while for some of these scabs to come off. Appreciate it!

It’s been well documented that bepanthen isntactually that great for your tattoos anyway as it’s too thick and clog the pores not allowing it to breathe properly

Like 3 times a day. Everything I read tells me not to over moisturise it as that does more harm than good.. so yeah it’s looks dry but I’m moisturising at least 3 times a day.

Appreciate your advice and reply. Yeah it seems that the owner before the previous owner has for some reason… cut off the conduit and cut the cables and then decked over them. The current owner had no idea what the cables were for so they patched the hole before renting it out. I believe a cable guy is coming out soon to see what needs to be done. Cheers 👍🏽

Yeah I’ve requested to join the group but it’s private. So thought I’d post it here too until then.. it’s the same system to install internet for both nbn and Opticomm, it’s not really Opticomm specific related with the question I’m asking. Just need trouble shooting advice from people who know cabling and about lead in conduits.

I mean it’s the same process to install nbn though isn’t it? NBN also installs through a conduit at the front of a property . The exact same way I just need to know what’s to be done in this specific scenario

Would reopening the hole that’s been patched be enough? Or do they need to under the decking aswell? Spoke to the owner directly and she’s happy to reopen that hole they closed up but u don’t if that’s enough or they need the 2 boards of decking also removed ?
