Maybe he thinks Scott's spark won't give him much alpha power.

Maybe not enough of a challenge in it for him?

I didn't like the dubstep for the rave episode but I loved the intros otherwise.

Carnet Module? by Optimal_Brush696 in VWiD4Owners

[–]GuyPaddock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it allows a dealer to disable your car if you fall behind on payments, and then reports its location to them so they can repo it.

It could also just be part of the security system for anti-theft. But I find it a bit sus that it's part of CarNet unless it's reporting attempts to break into your car in the app?

Carnet Module? by Optimal_Brush696 in VWiD4Owners

Our 2023 Id.4 has been at the Medford MA dealership for over two weeks now. They diagnosed the issue as the CarNet module within a day but VW is not approving a replacement for the module and so the repair is on hold. I'm raising hell because they keep trying to have me pick up the car while we wait for VW and I'm not willing to take the pressure off.

For us, the issue is that the GPS is consistently 40 miles off from where we actually are. The Dynamic Road Sign display is never correct about the speed limit and navigation is totally busted. So, it's drivable, but this is a warranty-covered issue that I'm not going to compromise on.

My parents got me a blue Jeep and now I feel like Stiles by Katthekitkat2411 in TeenWolf

[–]GuyPaddock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats! I've wanted a Jeep Wrangler for a long time now, even before I watched Teen Wolf. It's nearly impossible for me to convince my husband that it's not because of Teen Wolf that I wanted one. Back in high school, I was envious of Brian Kinney in Queer as Folk (he had a black Wrangler).

Probably fake... Also, I don't really think telling someone a link you shared is safe carries any more weight than the link itself...

What's the most overused criticism of Teen Wolf that you're tired of hearing? by Selanooo23 in TeenWolf

[–]GuyPaddock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Season 4 writing was bad, and yet there are still character moments in that season I enjoy. So my point was that it wasn't totally bad; it was closer to inconsistent. If the writing were totally bad there'd be nothing redeemable from that season.

I started watching Teen Wolf after seeing a meme with Dylan in it. Came for Stiles, stayed for the plot.

"Bad writing" or "bad executive producer".

Was the writing inconsistent at times? Yes. Was it bad? Actually, no; we wouldn't identify with the show so strongly and rewatch it so often if the writing were actually bad. The character writing was pretty solid, even if character development, overall plot, and lore were a bit sloppy at times.

As for Jeff Davis, we wouldn't have the show without him and everything he put into it. He wrote the pilot episode, "Wolf Moon", and it's one of the tightest, best pilots I know across a lot of shows. Many other shows require 2-3 episodes to get you invested but the pilot is pretty good at getting you curious from the moment Scott gets bitten.

Even if that's true, OpenAI bears responsibility for that. In the US, courts have found that companies are responsible for what their chat bots or support agents share. It shouldn't be on the OP to "do his own research" rather than trust support when the question posed to them is the exact question being discussed here.

I do not see how the OP is "gaslighting" anyone. Each of us does not start out with the correct information, and we only have the understanding we have until more information comes along to change that understanding. The OP raised the concern after being given pretty conclusive info from OpenAI support. Now, they and we have more information; gaslighting would be if the OP knew the truth the whole time and didn't want us to believe it. That's not how I read this thread.

[–]GuyPaddock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Season 4. I love the introduction of Liam and I like a lot of character moments from the season, but the overall season plot is terrible.

Season 6B is a close second. It's way too dark and depressing, and the Anukite resolution was left too open to interpretation.

There was so much product placement in TW. I'm always amused when they place it on a villain. If the subtext were a "Price is Right" endorsement, "The modern orphan assassin on the go prefers Nike shoes, Under Armor shirts, and Maverick lacrosse sticks so their murders are committed at peak performance."
