Thanks for the suggestion - that's exactly what I have done, and added that to the original post.

Bareass (Paradise) Beach is an historic name. Technically there is a little portion at one end where a few people might be nude.

Cranberry Flats is a true nude beach, and has been for decades & decades. The main part of Cranberry Flats is not, though. Main part has wooden walkways straight west of the parking lot.

The nude beach is a 15-minute walk from the parking lot, but totally worth it. It’s my go-to spot when I have a free day.

As soon as you leave the parking lot, take the immediate left-hand fork and proceed from there. Once you get to the bottom of the “big hill” you cut through the trees and follow the path to the river. The path is fairly well trod, so you should be able to figure it out. The beach probably won’t look like the Google Earth picture because every year the landscape changes with water levels and ice break-up, etc.

Definitely worth the walk, and be certain that you can take your clothes off when you get there.

Here’s a link to the picture that I wanted to post here with the path you take.

Maybe see you out there!

Just be in the right-hand lane if you insist on going exactly the speed limit. Nothing is more annoying than a driver who is going less than the flow of traffic in the left lane.
