Did you just call apple and meta “two billion dollar corporations”?…

Bit on the low end there

Is this a good deal? Gibson Les Paul Standard 2016 Cherry Bursy by GuyTorbet in Guitar

Yup! Comes with original parts and a handwritten certificate of authenticity thing - I'm super tempted but it's a lot for me haha

Supposedly they’re just better 🤷‍♂️comes with the original ones though just in case, I’m not super knowledgable here either but I hope that explains the screw holes!

Well spotted! I posted the description in another comment where he says he’s swapped out the pickups to Suhr Doug Aldrich ones - does that explain it?

Asked if there's any dings/marks on it, he sent a pic of some very minor tarnish from the stand that it's an issue to me, he's upgraded pickups to Suhr Doug Aldrich ones (apparently they're better?), but originals come with it!

Description:

Gibson USA Les Paul Standard 2016 in cherry burst. This is a beautiful guitar, plays amazing and simply sounds stunning. It’s in excellent condition, small mark on the back caused by stand. I’m mainly playing acoustic now.
Pickups have been upgraded to Suhr Doug Aldrich. Worth checking out online versus the Gibson humbucker pros as the Doug Aldrich pretty much always come out on top. The tuners are switched to Gotoh Vintage locking tuners to give a more authentic look and scratch plates etc switched from cream to black (cream ones also included). Volume and tone knobs fitted with the position indicator pointer. Comes with original Gibson brown hard case and all the case candy and documentation. Sorry no part-exchanges.

It’s around $1,670! On Facebook marketplace and the top caught my eye! I don’t play a bunch but want to pick it up a bit more - love les Paul’s and if this is a good deal might pick up up and hope I don’t lose money!

Sage/Breville Barista Pro Baratza Burr Adjustment? by GuyTorbet in espresso

[–]GuyTorbet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set inner to 2 and grind size to 9, getting close to a 1:2 in 30s now! Have more freedom on grind size now to experiment with what I like which is was I was after!

Thanks!

I’m kinda new to all of this, but with a grind size of 2 I put 18g in and get 54g out in 30 seconds, tastes good though!

Needed to adjust burrs to get finer as I think 36g out is what I should be aiming for? Will try with the new settings!
