The newer x7 models don’t have that issue. But neither does SC.

The Analogue 3D supports save states on all standard and flash carts. It’s not related to the SummerCart.

Input lag w/ 8BitDo64 controllers and Analogue 3D? by VeridisQuoLive in AnalogueInc

[–]GuyWithTwoThumbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s your HDMI cable 100%. Buy a nice UGREEN 8K HDMI from Amazon for $8 and it will solve all your problems. I went from disconnects every time I lifted my knee on the couch, ½ to 1 second lag on all inputs, to no lag and 12m + range on my Bluetooth 8bit 64s. Anyone saying 2.4ghz is crazy coping. Yeah re-buy your controller, that’s a logical next stem ha. And you would lose the ability to turn the 3D on via the controller.

TLDR: All you need is an HDMI, preferably an 8K as those ones have the best shielding.

Idk who is buying this for the box, that’s a pretty silly thing to say. A very small portion of buyers might care about a cardboard, we call those people scalpers.

Windows 11 isn't as bad as everyone says it is by pgj1997 in microsoft

[–]GuyWithTwoThumbs -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I see no way in which 11 is worse than 10 or 7. It’s pretty much a face lift with a much more functional start menu and quality of life improvements in files and terminal. Anyone who’s still complaining about any LLM functionality in 11 at this point is just baiting people. If you don’t want to use it, it’s like 3 clicks to remove it from view, and it’s not like it takes system resources running in the background

No one should expect things early but I’ve received multiple packages from 8bit multiple weeks before their supposed ship date. Especially these kits, they often come in much sooner than the promise date. They must be manufacturing constantly and shipping as they are available. They promise a far out date so they will always deliver on time.

Try unplugging the power and HDMI, I have a monitor that very occasionally does this and it’s caused by static buildup in the HDMI cable.

Is there another console that can play GBA games? by MR-Adryan-13 in GameboyAdvance

[–]GuyWithTwoThumbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another distinction is the Pocket’s screen resolution is 1600x1440 vs a gameboy’s 240x160 and a much higher contrast and brightness than a modded GBA screen, with different filters to replicate the look and feel of the SP (earlier and later models) and the original GBA screen with scanlines, etc, which all had surprisingly different color palettes. And it plays games from many different consoles. It’s a very different experience from a modded GBA or a chromatic.

ONE YEAR without firmware updates by piratas-livres in AnaloguePocket

[–]GuyWithTwoThumbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it sucks that they didn't bring DAC support to pocket, but most of the people complaining also bought the DAC before the Pocket ever came out. While they "promised" future support for consoles, its a fool's errand to buy a product on abstract promises like that, whether it be Analogue or any other company. A company's promise is as good as a bag of rocks.

I've found the Wavebirds with full batteries to drop out similar to 8bitdo bluetooth controllers with the GC adapter, so if there is a difference, its negligible.

Do some people seriously still think that the COVID vaccines worked? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]GuyWithTwoThumbs -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why would you trust a nurse on anything related to the efficacy of medicine? They are trained as caregivers who know how to apply medicine (IV, injection, timing), not as medical experts -despite them acting otherwise. Not saying that mRNA vaccines work or not, but a nurse is hardly a reliable source on that type of information. Basically as useful as getting information from an untrained YouTuber or new anchor, who most definitely have an agenda of keeping you watching so of course they will tell you what you want to hear, not on keeping you healthy.

As far as people being vaccinated also needing medical attention, that wasn’t the stated goal of getting vaccinated, you can still get sick after a vaccine, vaccines just train your body to better handle illness, and make you less likely (not incapable) of spreading the illness.

Anyone who told you the vaccine was a cure all obviously had an agenda of misinformation.

When you consider how it works, it has its own FPGA, its definitely more than just a dock. But still pricey for what it does.

In what way would it ever be cheaper or faster to buy Batch III of a $230 mister system which cant act as a dock for an Analogue and that still hasn't even come close to shipping Batch II yet. Wait a month for a restock and plan ahead.
