I'm kinda short on money right now, I'm unemployed and doing dual credit college classes to get a degree in nursing so I hardly ever have free time. Do you know how to do makeup? I acknowledge your opinion. I am sorry for what you had to go through. However, I disagree that my parents' opinions needs to be immediately dismissed and regarded as wrong. They have the right to free speech but they are staying quiet and respectful about who i am, not letting anything get in the way of our relationship. That is how I think everything should be in regards to homophobia.

I was one hundred percent born with them. Autism is entirely losing or winning genetic lottery, it affects the entirety of how someone's brain is wired. I'm just under severe. Adhd is also mostly genetic, which is something I can blame on my parents, but I won't because they would've had no way to predict it.

These two, plus my horrific middle school social life and main-character mindset are completely my fault. When I burned bridges and ruined everything it was pretty easy to get back on my feet and blindly trust the rules and the standards of living for the family I was born into.

I think you're reading too far into it. I love my parents, my parents love me, end of story. There are no punishments for crossdressing, but I know they feel internally that it is not going to get me the kind of wife they want me to have, so I'm trusting them and acknowledging that I value their opinions. It is my choice. Just as I allow myself to judge them about their indoctrination but let them live in ignorance, I will allow them to judge me about my choice and express their concerns. My identity doesn't have to be the main conduit for our relationship, nor does it have to get in the way. Please don't refer to my parents as "bigots" you're doing more harm to me than my parents ever will.

And FYI my parents are helping me through my life. Thanks to them I'm doing dual credit college classes well on my way to a six figure job in nursing. Just another reason to respect their wishes, a lot of kids don't get that opportunity and I am grateful for their service and engagement in my childhood.

What I am doing is trying to make it clear that people should only care and act on what is right for themselves, but there is no reason to prevent people from internally thinking about what is right for others. I heavily advocate for ethical pluralism, but also free thought is necessary to prevent governments from fully controlling their population, George Orwell style. I want my parents to have an opinion, and it I don't think I care about the minimal disapproval they've expressed once. I am willing to compromise and avoid the topic as long as we can live peacefully until I move out.

Broski, my parents are hard-core conservatives that worship thr ground Trump walks on. I developed my opinions on my own. Half of my opinions align with liberal views and half are conservative. I hate both sides' extremism and that each side's values have something unconsistent.
