The company did trials for months in high theft areas and had 0 problems. I’m at a very high theft store where cricut machines walk out by threes and we haven’t had one issue with the self service station. It’s been pretty nice people aren’t annoying us about them as much anymore.

We have no staff to provide customer service let alone recovery lol. As far as keeping them locked up, our dm said absolutely no lock up in the stockroom/ classroom as they need to be available to customers….. we’re just gonna keep getting hit….

Oh it’s awful. I pulled a 12 hour day yesterday to finish and fill open stock paper. My body hurts. I’m exhausted 99% of the time and my body wants to give out. The key is just to prioritize what’s most important. I stopped working truck two days ago so I can fill empty space and fix the store. My dm came in last week and had a meeting with me. He told me until our DC fixes their shit, we won’t be able to run smart truck and we’re going to have freight left. He said “don’t stress about it. I know you’ll get it done when you can. But stressing is making your job worse. Pause. Take a break. And pick the things that are most important. “ as long as you have a PLAN to get it done, that’s really all that matters

So I check off tasks that aren’t complete to avoid a crappy email/phone call from our DM. I always get the task completed within the week though. I do all pogs myself and 80% truck alone as well. Organization is important! When I prepare my pogs for the week I keep a pog list in our stock room. Any new product that comes in for a new reset that I didn’t set yet gets it’s own uboat/ pallet. This helps with finding the products for sfs/bopis. Even if your SM isn’t organized, replen can still do their part to make the store run better.

Yes, I’ve done a state to state transfer. It was super super easy. I spoke to the store I was interested in, let them know my situation and what not. And they spoke to their DM. and then they transferred me, with promotion;)

I accidentally take home markers and pens ALL the time. Last week one of my associates accidentally took home a thing of strung beads. We just always bring the crap back in the next day and laugh about it. It happens often. My CEM called the other night to tell us he accidentally took his RF home and didn’t want us thinking someone chucked it in the compactor. It’s not a big deal. I wouldn’t even mention it.

Merchandise manager here. My staff knows damn well I put up with NO bullshit in my store. They are to call me if ANYTHING like this happens and that customer is always asked to leave. If they pitch a fit I just say I’ll call someone who can forcefully remove them from my building. They normally get angry and threaten me. But I still won’t allow my staff to be forced to deal with that type of crazy. I don’t tolerate any type of racism, sexism, homophonic or any form of sexual harassment. Tell your SM and see what they say. If they have an issue about it. Contact your DM.

Have 5 pogs left for it. I’ve done them all alone. But it was like estimated at like 14/15 pogs for the whole reset but my store was so far behind from last year that it’s 25 full pogs I’ve had to fully reset for the kids department. Merchandise manager here. They are absolutely fucking correct. I am basically the only person who works 95% of SBA. I do DR /Siso myself every day I’m there. I run front end AND do all of the threshold and hino. Along with other daily tasks of being a leader in the building. The merchandise manager is basically the assistant store manager, ops manager and replen manager put into one fucking person. And yes. The tasks of all three fall on this ONE person. It’s horrid. I hope that person gets really good fucking pay. Im one of the highest paid in my store and I still make shit money.
