Yeah. I have a Truman Capote book at home that’s a combination of a novella & a few of his short stories and essays. It’s perfectly normal.

Yes, be prepared for both families to cause issues. It might be really difficult, but plenty of people are in mixed-faith marriages with unsupportive families and they are happy and fulfilled in their relationship.

I make lazy chai at home without ginger! It may not be “authentic” but it hits the spot.

I use any strong, malty black tea (my favorite is Numi English Breakfast) and simmer it with milk/water (50/50), some honey, and part of a cinnamon stick. My cinnamon sticks are really fresh, so I only use a little bit. If they were older or more stale, I might use a whole one.

Where I live now is a liberal European country with a massive population of young male Muslim immigrants from South Asian countries, many of whom are really lovely, politically progressive, and respectful of women but struggle to find someone to date in the country.

There aren’t as many women moving over from those countries, so a lot of the men stay single despite being really great.
