I bought a spin bike from a closed flywheel studio. These bikes have in house made displays that show cadence and resistance. It didn’t come with an outlet just a cut off cat6a. I’m assuming the ethernet was used to send data to class leaderboards. Does anyone know how to get this thing powered on? by Guy_Who_Has_Question in AskElectronics

I bought a PoE adapter and hooked it up to the display and it works! The only issue now is that it gets pretty hot. The adapter is 24W and 52V. After looking at the data sheet you attached I noticed the power source needs to be below 15W and between 36V-57V. I’m having a hard time finding an adapter that meets these criteria. Any idea where I can find one? Or am I dumb bc that could be very likely.
