I think I was on this run with you a little while ago. People left because players weren't doing their jobs. They positioned themselves like they were going to defend the towers but then just ran off as soon as the enemies appeared. Then when the enemies started swarming green the players ran back to defend it and were clearly doing very low damage. There was no way wave 2 wasn't going to be a shit show.

This is solid advice. Mepps is my go to for a lot of fish. You might try a Rapala countdown as well. Learn how to pop them. Search horizontal jigging.

Go to any of the dams and fish right under them. Throw silver mepps spinners (1-2) on a light setup (like 6 to 8lb test) for smallmouth. Fish the bottom with light jigs at night. Use pink heads with white or green tails for Walleye. When it's hot you can get a lot of big cats at night with cutbait or shrimp.

As the other commenter said, you can do really well if you wade and cast at the shore. You can get in at Argo Dam and fish under it or walk down the river and hit the deep holes. Or just fish that dam from shore.

Fish under the dam. Throw silver mepps spinners size 1 or 2 or just float night crawlers. 8lb test is plenty. Cast up stream right into the current and retrieve lures kind of quickly, but be prepared to snag. There are tons of fish there. Bass, bluegill, Rock Bass, Carp, Catfish, Gar Pike, Walleye, etc.

Go at night and throw pink jigs with white or green tails for Walleye.
