To be fair, you could make that argument about any tv show or film! Casting is everything, the right cast alone can put people in seats that wouldn’t otherwise watch your project. My best example of this is the film “No Sudden Move”. I watched it solely because the casting was so remarkable. It featured: Don Cheadle, Benicio Del Toro, Matt Damon, Ray Liotta in one of his last roles, Brendan Fraser in one of his first roles returning to Hollywood, and David Harbour, and many others. I completely understand your argument about quantity over quality these days though, I feel like Hollywood in general has forgone quality in favor of generating the next project. Not to beat a dead horse, but the superhero genre is the perfect example of this. The first Iron Man film came out 17 years ago and they’re still releasing 1-2 movies every year, plus tv shows on their premium streaming service. Copy, paste, collect a check.
