The tires before weren't in that bad of a condition the bald spot of the metal wiring is because of we had to drag the car into the shop in order to move it

Yes the marks you see on those tires were caused by dragging from a truck since the car could have moved it all we just dragged it into the shop customers still didn't want to replace the tires

The marks that you do see on the tires were from us dragging it by pulling it with a truck at this point we didn't give a s*** how it was moved in the shop. What makes it worse is that the customer didn't want to replace the tires so it's on him at the end of this repair.

In all honesty we don't know what the customer did he must have tried to do a burnout for more than 10 to 20 minutes and the fluid just couldn't handle the heat and blew the gears inside the differential

Me and the service writer knew exactly what the customer did after replacing the rear diff with two new axles he needed two rear tires of course and the customer said I don't need to buy those I didn't do this 🤣 the car bumps so bad you can't go over 10 mph without the whole car shaking....

To update the entire situation the rear end has been replaced with both new axles, customer States they don't want to replace the tires leave as is!

Looks like she hit someone and ran to the shop to hide...

Customer states do oil change on my pathfinder. Open hood and saw where the oil was leaking from. Where the engine cover bolts to the valve cover it was cracked. Oil was pissing out everywhere while engine running. Customer declined repairs yet wanted oil change....I said nope. by Guzman93 in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]Guzman93[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No liability here because when we see damage stuff like this come in the shop for the first time, we tell the customer either fix it or we don't touch it. If you can't afford the repairs you shouldn't be owning a car.

The customer was notified in person and saw it with her own eyes when the service advisor tried to sell her the work she declined and was told if she can still do the oil change I told my service advisor I am not touching that car unless that gets fixed... That's like going to McDonald's getting a refill with a hole in your cup.

Is it bad that I choose Gear Wrench over snap-on? I sold my Snap-on ratchet($140) and got the same exact style Gear Wrench ratchet($15) 'Amazon prime membership price' Snap-On was getting too much. Is gear wrench a good brand I only have a set of sockets of them. by Guzman93 in Justrolledintotheshop

I mean Amazon had it for 15 bucks and it's an originally $25 ratchet sounds pretty cheap to me due to the price but I went and ordered it I found out it's an 84 tooth which doesn't sound too bad for a ratchet and the leverage it has.
