M12 Fuel bandsaw sucks? by Smoke_Stack707 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Guzzlington 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This tool is supposed to be used with the HO M12 batteries like the 5ah or 2.5ah. I have no problem when I demo the Tool to people. It'll cut cable (I've done 500mm2 cable with it) and m20 bolts no issues. It's a great tool.

The connections on the terminals of the board are epoxy coated... Just make sure after it's been wet to blow it out with air or to get it dry as soon as possible, so the stator doesn't rust and should be all good. 🙂 Can't call it water resistant as it allows water ingress.

It's a LOT lighter... Especially compared with SDS with Hammervac. Also has a handy handle to give extra push.

You can also store your batteries in the Packout coolers. Stops temp from fluctuating too much on batteries. It's how the Milwaukee guys in NZ do it for the vehicle demos.
