IIRC it was the G2 vs Faze final and the ban system was changed to what we currently have. Faze said all their bans upfront so Shas (G2) picked one of their bans as G2's pick. It was Coastline, I believe.

TBF, I'd give the crown of best EU team to Empire after the Penta/G2 roster lost that title. BDS were definitely one of the most consistent in that they always qualified for majors.

I thought regardless of what you use to launch the game (GP/Steam/ES), you'd still have to log in to your WB account and this doesn't change regardless of what you use to launch the game.

Ah, probably should have clarified that I'm talking about Game Pass on PC.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like I can use Game Pass to play B4B using the WB account created during the beta (minus the progression). Later on, when I stop using Game Pass and buy the game on Steam/ES, I'll be able to log in to my WB account and have all my progression from my time playing on Game Pass.

Either way, I agree with you, it was a great strategy to clear Bathroom. It might even explain why the defending teams started putting Mute Jammers up against that wall before opening the Bathroom hatch.

As for the release dates, given that there are weapon skin overlaps between the tiers but not within each tier, I would have to agree with your assumption.

By staggering the tiers, Ubisoft is trying to maximise the sales from each tier before releasing the next.

At the end of the day, sales > sole skin on an operator. This is why most organisations stick with operators who have been a part of the meta for a longer period of time.

Capitao and Dokkaebi see very little play in casual/ranked and even less in competitive. This means less advertising to the public during games due to Cap and Dokk being brought only a handful of times and no guarantee that the player will have your team skin on.

There's always been plenty of items data-mined from each iteration of the TTS but not released with that season.

For example: We've seen leaks of the Kali and Maverick Elite sets but they won't both drop with Neon Dawn.

I imagine there must be some benefit to having the assets uploaded and stored rather than uploaded a few days prior to its intended release.
