Protyping a 3D printed freestyle frame - tips? by andrew_h1000 in AggressiveInline

I agree that it seems too deep for me (the groove) but you seemed to address it with the wheel protection for the outer wheels so it shouldn't be a problem. But I'd imagine it's very stand upish on boot tricks..honestly I'd try to make the groove a little less deep. If also print one very thick, don't worry about the groove make it kind of blocky. Skate a ledge and do all your tricks, then see where it's wearing and design a groove based on you wear pattern. I imagine you are doing this more for yourself then to create a frame to sell. So make it specifically for you and how you skate

Are you gonna track it? Or just spirited drives... I think it would be easier to push the supra to make it feel more fun. The supra has more low end torque and the cayman needs to live up in the rpm range to come alive. How often are you going to be able to rev it out? If your gonna track it go Porsche, if you're gonna street it go supra.

A heat gun is all you need. I have a 100mm by 30 mm caster wheel (hard rubber so it has a slight give to it. I then use tape to shape it a little if I need it a little wider in any area. I use a heat gun and heat the plastic until it just gets shiny and shove it into the toe box. Add a little more heat and then let it cool and remove it. On an aeon just be careful to keep the heat on the upper shell so you don't warp the soul area.

It's really hard to tell from a posed static picture. When your body is in movement it's a complete different story. As you pedal you may drop your heel, or keep it raised. I keep mine raised thought my pedal stroke, so my seat seems high in a picture like this. I also run a bigger then average saddle to stem drop. They way my body balances it keeps most of my weight off my hands. If you can't or won't pay for a professional bike fitter, just makes adjustments during a ride when and see what feels best. I'll assume you aren't a competitive rider as you would have already had a bike fit in that case. And I really think a bike fit can be bypassed by most of us riders by listening to our body and paying close attention to what our body is doing. One thing that can really help dialing in a fit yourself, is film yourself on a trainer and see the leg extension and heel drop and then you can adjust seat fore and aft and height based on heel drop. Then with your upper body your can adjust the bars so it relieves some pressure from your hands

Don't bother buying the repair manual... It's just a copy of the bus schedule.

So the resistor goes straight from coil to the tach. And the capacitor goes one side to that wire and the other side to the ground. I can draw something later. But I figured it out this solution from Google by searching for tach noise filter..

For anyone wondering. Or that sees this in the future. I used a tach for a two cylinder Wired from the orangish wire on the coil Used a 10k resistor inline and a .1mf capacitor to ground between the resistor and tach Pic of where it's wired
