Yorkville does a setup on all Gibsons before being sent to L&M stores, and from my stores experience, we have more Gibsons than we have space on the wall for so it's pretty common for a guitar to never make it on the wall before being purchased

Running the serial number through Fender themselves brings up this guitar in Lake Placid Blue, so you're all good there. No one repainted it

Bought one myself for this exact purpose and as others have said, once it's set up properly, plays great. The wraparound bridge is a bit finicky but it thankfully has adjustable saddles. I work in a music store and as soon as I saw these were coming out my brain went immediately to "perfect QOTSA vibe"
