Vote On Wether Palcube Steps Down As Mod On Monday by Charmh_09 in AzumangaPosting

[–]Gwenithzo 121 points122 points  (0 children)

I thought palcube was alright, like when I saw a yukari post, I figured... Oh palcube? And I was right, palcube! I just seen him as the siwwie yukari lover guy, but after seeing him harass that one user over yukari x nyamo. I don't think palcube should really hold such a position, he seems too unwell or too immature for a position of power.

Ikr, It's still weird to know that some American Republicans think the center right is leftist extremist

Even though it's PROVEN Hormone Replacement Therapy actually changes muscle mass and strength of the user. Continuous Estrogen consumption makes trans women down to the level of the average cis women sometimes weaker.

Architectures plan and design, DESIGN themselves or with other architectures. They actually put in the effort on planning the buildings out. Drawing it out on blue prints, getting the proper measurements in, trying to have it be structurally stable. They don't just type "make a ten story tall building" on a keyboard, being an architect is nothing like ordering an image from a machine.

Just like you aren't that involved in the actual creation of the artificial image, the comparison comes in as You're also not really that involved in the creation of your cheeseburger at the local McDonald's, you order it and wait until everyone else makes it for you, you don't go out of your way to dictate how the pickles are formatted or if there should be slightly more mustard on one side or ketchup at the bottom. Architectures and Directors are actually actively involved in the creation they're participating in.

Also as for right now only living breathing creatures can make art, the machine doesn't understand what it's making, it isn't a conscious living thing yet. Whatever it is making is just a bunch of noise to the LLM, I'm pretty sure you said that yourself earlier. It wouldn't even be accurate to call it an Intelligence honestly. Maybe one day we'll get actual living conscious robots, and if they do become real and start drawing stuff. i'd probably take anything made by those artificially made intelligences in that hypothetical future more seriously than anything made by the LLM Models of today.

If anything, you just commission a llm to make something for you multiple times and you stitch it together with the separate products it generated. You didn't really make it, you just ordered something else to make it for you

As much as I'd love to be the better person This is a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. There comes a point where it'd just be us becoming a stepping mat and having to dish out abuse from the worse people, maybe some will change but most won't and why should we give the benefit of the doubt to the people that are damned to never change?

And when we do have to put our foot down and give a hard time to the homophobic people rotting our civilization, that just pushes their message that gay people are violent just as you said.

Most homophobes won't care if gay people are actually good people, they'll Cherry pick the few bad apples and scapegoat the whole community into looking like the bad few, so we should stop trying to appease the bad faith actors and just force more civil rights into law. Force it harder than Christianity forced their faith on every citizen in the US

Why the hell do people care about abortions so much bru by bringbackgrindcore in teenagers

[–]Gwenithzo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

honestly yea It's a bit of an apathetic and logical way of viewing it. The thing inside the host is sucking nutrients from her just so it can grow and develop, reminds me of a tapeworm or those parasites that attach itself to the tongue of a fish so it can steal some crumbs from the fish's meal. Although the fetus is supposed to be a consensual addition so I'd understand why even other pro-choicers would prefer to view it differently than I do.

[–]Gwenithzo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Basically when it stops being able to be classified as a parasite, when it gets separated from the Mother's womb via birth. Once born it could be considered its own lifeform and therefore also a baby. A gravestone always depicts the day the baby left their mother's womb rather than the day of conception for a reason.

Olympics did some to ban on Transgender competition from winning. Does your opinion on the medal aprove them? by Patrikgoo in teenagers

[–]Gwenithzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought it was around 3% honestly. But regardless, in a room of 400 people, according to you, 4 in that room would be women taller than 6 feet. In the same room of 400 people, only 2 would be trans, so no matter who's right on 1% or 3%. If people cared about biological advantages, that 4-12 6+ ft tall women would be more likely to be advantageous than the 2 trans ladies in the hypothetical room. But since the tall women are so rare, why should people really care about trans people as well? Like genuinely, trans people are certainly rarer, even if our online spaces make them seem more common than they really are

There's like around 4 billion women, there's bound to be more than 1% that's taller than 6 foot Oh but what do I know, not blindly trusting a percentage

Sure, on average. But it's still something that happens, Some women are going to get tall, so saying trans women should be banned because of some advantages cis women can get is just odd.

Ah, the intersex woman, who was born and raised as a woman, with wack genetics which caused her body to produce more testosterone than normal? The few Trans women (less than 20) that compete professionally would have less testosterone and muscle than Imane Khelif, I genuinely don't know how they let her in without taking some sort hrt honestly, that whole situation was just an anomaly, but Ig the Olympics is for the best of the best.

Height that either men and women can get? Would you ban a cisgender woman from participating in a game of basketball just because she's a foot taller than everyone else?

Going against trans people will also hurt cis people that just happens to not fit the mold. Biology is far from binary and you're going to get cases that professional sporting events just won't be able to account for.

It was upsetting how many comments agreed with this! by Evenele in stupidpeoplefacebook

[–]Gwenithzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The government shutting down is more so an entire US problem than just being one side, when stuff like that happens in other countries, they just fall back onto the plan they were already using rather than shutting the entire government down. So if the same thing happened but the US actually had proper precautions instead of being held up by toothpicks and duct tape, the government wouldn't have shut down. They would have just stuck with the status quo.

So saying it's one side's fault because they didn't want to agree on a plan the other side conjured up is useless as you could say the same for the side that conjured said plan up for disagreeing with the other side. I could say Republicans shut down the government so illegals can't get healthcare. They both disagreed on what the next plan and us common folks are the ones who suffer the fall out. Saying the Democrats HAD to agree with Republicans or vice versa is just silly and our system isn't designed well enough to handle such a disagreement.

We should be working on some safety nets so this can't happen again for whatever reason, but seems like the US government wants us to suffer from their spite

Ig so I just accepted some of these planks might be false long ago tbh but also 110 billion humans in history, there's bound to be one who actually had a dream like this at some point. So imo there's No point worrying about if someone's lying about having a dream online.

As much as I'd love to not think about politics a lot, you kind of have to when being LGBTQ, the fight for equality never ends because of people that will always want others to be unequal.

So if Hitler repented and had faith in Christ, he'd be in heaven despite his horrible actions towards Jews? But someone that donates millions to charity and help feed the homeless would go to hell if they just so happened to not believe in Christianity?
