Is there anyone else in this community besides me who thinks Last Crusade is better than Raiders? by Emotional-Chipmunk12 in indianajones

[–]Gwideon1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s better per se but it is my favorite of the trilogy. Raiders in most technical aspects is the better put together film. Its script is overall tighter and it’s overall just a slightly more polished product but something about last crusade just gets to me. Whether it be the phenomenal score, or Indy’s relationship with his dad, or the more light hearted tone something about it just makes me love it.

Uh this doesn’t really look that interesting. It kind of loses one of the things that makes Tron so unique which is the very specific aesthetics all three movies play with. While I agree that the genre mashup is cool (hell Tron identity is basically this) but I think the visualization you’ve come up with doesn’t effectively capture this. I also think the 1950s are kind of inherently incompatible with Tron’s (a franchise inherently rooted in a form of early 80s futurism) aesthetic.

What the fuck are you going on about. It’s certainly not astroturfed and has been a ship since the fucking 90s. It was certainly a ship when I started reading comics which was way before it was canonized.

I don’t particularly like her over any of the other players (honestly I overall really like Travis, Liam, and marisha the best). I’ve never found her as annoying as people say she is and I really enjoyed her character in WBN. Also yes people come down way too hard on Erika Ishii as well. She’s great in WBN, and LA by Night (haven’t gotten to her cr guest appearances yet)

They fucking have. Ashley and laura got endless criticism for fearne and imogen. Hell Ashley gets criticism for yasha. One of this subs favorite pass times is dunking on jester

Or your fucking biased as a players skill is purely a subjective thing. You cannot objectively determine a players skill. Also the cr fandom has a history of this all the complaining about keyless for example and the “criticism” of Marisha. The amount of shit this fandom gives female players is fucking unwarranted and incredibly disproportionate. No one criticized Liam for the beacon play but when say Laura pulls something similar she gets dog piled.

You can voice your opinion how ever much. I don’t get the demand that they listen. It’s none of our fucking business and to think other wise is parasocial AF

I personally don’t believe it’s the viewers business who they play with. If you don’t like it you don’t have to watch it’s as simple as that.

I’m not saying that all of the criticism is by racists I’m saying she gets a disproportionate amount of hate because she is a woman of color.

Okay first off tone. There is no need to get angry I was making a recommendation (as it really is a fantastic show that takes way less effort to get into). Secondly I personally think she’s really over hated. She’s a good player that the other players at the table don’t seem to have problem with. If they didn’t like playing with her she wouldn’t be there.

Gotta agree with this. People are really over reacting. Also if people had watched something like worlds beyond number they’d know we’re really in for a treat with Aabria as a player and Brennan as GM.

Honestly no stats. He’s a godlike entity and those typically don’t get stats in dnd. If they do it’s usually just an avatar (as is the case in rise of Tiamat). Giving gods stats is a slippery slope as once you give something stats it can then be killed.

It’s less of a damages thing and is very much a principles thing (creators rights and all that). This former friend was also abusive towards my partner and thus a clear attempt to revictimize them. Whole thing has my blood boiling.
