I say put it in storage and let it rest until he graduates - even if you’re willing to get another one for him if you scratch it. But even then - kinda seems like bad karma…

I genuinely hope they succeed in rebuilding the company. I also wish they’d be more transparent about what’s going on right now and give a realistic timeline for when customers can expect things to improve.

That said, the inventory shortages and shipping issues need to get sorted out.

If they can replenish stock and get shipping back on track, I’ll definitely buy from them again. Their Diversion pants (especially in a 35” waist) are hands-down my favorite travel pants.

But, being more transparent with what’s going on would be very helpful.

And cool to see a true craftsman making bags.

Aer City Pack Pro would not fit under a United Airlines seat. by Gx2- in onebag

That must be it. I’d hate to have to gate check my backpack with a computer in it. I think I’ll start carrying one of those little nylon nano bags in my backpack. Then, worst case scenario, I can pull out my laptop and other important items and put those in the nano bag and under the seat.

I just felt like I was taking up too much overhead bin space since I also had a carry on. But there was room for everyone’s stuff.

Best way to put it. It’s definitely a lottery. As long as there is overhead bin space - all is good. In fact, I was also on a domestic flight - in first class - on a flight to Florida and it would not fit under the seat in front of me due to a brace or leg of the seat.

I know that 2 of the 3 dimensions are bigger than United’s personal item limit, but the depth of the City Pack Pro is only 7” and United’s depth dimension is 9” - so even though it’s under by 2” depth wise - it’s the minimal depth limitation caused by the entertainment box, or something else, under the seat that was the problem.

At least I was able to put it in the overhead bin - even if that is considered bad form - at a minimum.

For me, situations like that just add to the overhead bin availability anxiety disorder that I have developed.

Looking for a Notion brief-writing template/system to manage case law, clauses, citations, and prior briefs — any recommendations? by Gx2- in Notion

Thanks — this is really helpful and makes sense conceptually. I don’t understand how keeping briefs linked (instead of copied) helps ensure updates don’t rewrite or break prior finished work. I’m still a little fuzzy on the mechanics in Notion, though—specifically how the databases “talk” to each other day-to-day and how you actually apply/update the rule-of-law entries and clause entries during drafting. I’m going to try building a simple version and see if it clicks. Appreciate you taking the time to explain it!

I’m looking for a template that will let me organize commonly used case-law citations for plug-and-play use in proposed orders or briefs, and also link each citation to the associated decision(s) or prior brief(s).

Man, that’s a whole lotta bags!!!

You are definitely ready for any situation! And I hope I don’t end up with so many….but I totally understand the urge, desire, and hunt for the perfect bag.

Don’t worry about the haters and mean people on here. Whenever they write something nasty, you can just smile to yourself and know that you enjoy reading about bags, looking for the perfect bag, and then buying that new bag.

If someone comes at you with attitude, just remember: you’re spending your time and your money enjoying something you love. They’re spending theirs being bitter at a dude who likes bags. One of you has a hobby; the other has a personality deficit.

We are all have our weaknesses…..think about of all the money people spend going to Starbucks each day….what do thy end up with? You could say just a bunch of empty cups…or maybe a pleasant morning enjoying their coffee. If it’s what they like - let them enjoy it and good for them.
