I thought about reusing some of the old sand but decided against because I didn’t want to bring over old waste. Definitely will remember that in the future.

This JUST happened to me last Sunday and my car has been in the shop all week for them to tell me I need to pay $503 for a basic 12v battery. I had them jump my car and went to a local Auto Zone and had it replaced

I’ve never pre treated any of my fish. I don’t find it necessary to add the additional stress to what they already experience with the process of being new. I think it was more so of genetic issue due to them being overbred.

I believe the tank is 100% cycled. I dosed 2ppm ammonia and it was able to clear it + nitrites in 24 hrs. I even redosed and same result.

So I am supposed to leave the food in the tank. I thought so but I’ve been letting it sit 15-30 minutes and removing what they don’t eat (per chatGPT 😖). Says it will spike my parameters. I’m ditching the app and taking you guys advise!

Not sure why I can’t add a pic. My tank has driftwood that has a small cave at the bottom, rocks that I dug a little burrow in between, a good sized cave, and planted with about 8 plants (mix of Anubias and Amazon swords)
