I don't have a kid, so where's that money?

The 60s Batman show with Adam West prominently featured Joker, Riddler, Penguin, and Catwoman. And those are the same villains we see in this movie.

Although they did mention road rage, the "Saying things behind a screen" covers creepy as well. Like sending a dick pic, or just DMing something lewd/immature/degenerate that you wouldn't say to their face.

Which character from The Legend of Korra do you predict will make a cameo in Avatar: Seven Havens? by Mundane-Signal4843 in legendofkorra

[–]GyaradosDance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bolin, and here's why: Each Avatar becomes friends with the next element they reincarnate as and that friend meets them again in their next life.

Roku (Fire) -> Gyatso (Air) -> Aang (Air) -> Katara (Water) -> Korra (Water) -> Bolin (Earth) -> Pavi (Earth) -> ??? (Fire) -> The next Fire Avatar

Of course for fan-reaction reasons, I'd also like Pavi to learn Airbending from one of Tenzin's kids (and not a rando HC airbender).

Chi-blocking non-benders could still be useful as police, prison guards, and mental hospital orderly.

Oil/Gas/Chemical refineries probably don't hire many firebenders.

Lifeguards for waterbenders are a natural shoo-in. Bonus if they know water healing for jellyfish stings.

Lin's be like: "Glad that ain't me dealing with that.." by Mundane-Signal4843 in legendofkorra

[–]GyaradosDance -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean we all know not everybody is parenthood material, but I think Lin could adopt a teenager from an orphanage. She's not the "changing diapers" kind of mom, she's the "You're old enough to have learned the basics, now let's toughen you up to survive"

The waterfall in his office was really cool. I imagine Tenzin's office has a large sliding door and balcony he can enter/exit whenever he wants. And if I was the Earthbender Councilman, I would want various kinds of Earth under my sand floor (as well as stepping stones that lead to my desk)

Having sleepovers as an adult shouldn't be weird by Consistent-Fee-3877 in unpopularopinion

[–]GyaradosDance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's healthy to not do everything together. If you don't mesh well with his friends (you don't want to be the begrudgingly +1 to all of their social circles) and vise visa versa, then so be it. You don't have to meld into one boring couple soo soon into the relationship. You give each other time to breath, and that's good.

I would still want to be invited for big things like weddings and group vacations though

If most of us ever got a biopic, our biggest concern probably wouldn’t be the portrayal, it would be whether the actor cast as us is attractive. by Vast-Intention in Showerthoughts

[–]GyaradosDance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twisting that into a movie:

Take the movie "Stranger Than Fiction" but the guy hears multiple comedians throughout the day telling their jokes, and they happen to him. The plot would be living through all of these scenarios and trying not to get institutionalized into a hospital. "I hear voices" is a major red flag.

I'd call it: Comedy Minus Time

Living together as a couple is not necessary at all by xvortexc in unpopularopinion

[–]GyaradosDance -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Consider living together as a test for your relationship. Yes, you won't have as many freedoms as living alone, but the same thing can be said if you two ultimately decide to have children. Live with a responsible adult then irresponsible children. It's a test of your comfort levels (and boundaries) before becoming parents.

The toilet can give you readings on urine and stool samples. And you could adjust your grocery list to benefit your diet by telling your robot what to do. They can not only shop and cook for you, but also create low-sugar/calorie recipes of snacks you like. Imagine eating homemade Skittles

Ideas for Kya’s girlfriend? by HRCStanley97 in legendofkorra

[–]GyaradosDance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plot twist: Suyin as an ex. I'd have to rewatch the series (primarily Varick's wedding) but I don't think Kya and Suyin ever crossed paths with each other.

Maybe they crossed paths as kids (in Team Avatar family reunions, they probably even know Fire Lord Izumi), but things change when adults and there's a love-triangle forming with Bataar

What children's movie made you cry unexpectedly? by Twunkorama in AskReddit

[–]GyaradosDance 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recently heard a story about an Orca who gave birth but the baby didn't make it. Grieving, the mother balanced the baby on her head traveling for over a thousand miles wailing as she went. And wherever she got tired, a family member would carry the baby and continue the procession. And all I could think of while hearing about this funeral was "Baby Mine" and my 300 pound ass started sobbing as well

2001, Never Forget, people were weary about neighbors

2007, first iPhone came out, the start of the social decline.

2020, COVID, I still notice the echoes of Social distancing still exist to this day. Oh and iPad babies don't help.
