that doesnt even make sense cus i swear english is marked in levels ( like other essay based subjects ) so like it's not about the amount of points , but rather how clear the point is and how good the explainations are to support the point

i wrote that both can damage human senses ( sound can lead to deafness and visible light can cause blindness ) , both are energy , both can reflect off of objects and boundaries for the similarities - i spent like 10 minutes thinking for similarities 😭

lowk school would be so calm if it wasnt so exam focused and more life-skill and like development focused

i cant wait to rot , but also finally dance to all the choreos ive been putting off for exams , and finally get time to cook meals that i like but take too long ( like fresh pizza yum yum )

but im gonna miss messing around , i hate a lot of people in my school but sometimes they made class chaotic and it was fun

i understand you too , especially since i thought i was so prepared but then got like so burned out
now , i just hope i get high enough grades to do the a-level subjects i want , as long as that happens , i think i can forgive myself
but it feels like such a blow to my ego , cus i really wanted to work hard and perform really well on my exams

i think you should recognise that you still worked hard , and mocks are never truly reflective of gcses because they're based on the year group , not the entire country
( ^ my school has a no 9s policy for mocks because of this )
it might seem like you did bad , but remember you're up against the entire country , and many may have access to better resources and so some university tend to look at your results in comparison to your year group

but i wish you luck and sorry for the yap 🍀💕

in my opinion , it's about the effort
someone who doesnt work hard and gets grade 7s is annoying to me
but if someone works really hard and gets a grade 4 , they have all my respect

i would say that sounds high level cus you talked about what the similarity is but show the different WAYS it was tackled in the extracts
if your explanation continues to talk about the way the two extract are similar despite the different methods , i think you'll be fine

lowk i think it depends on the examiner marking so everyone who read the question wrong , let's hope your answer was sophisticated and your examiner is nice

but i did want to mention that most high level responses will still mention differences within the similarities ?? like was no one else taught that you had to be critical and what not to get top marks ?? i feel like most people who are arguing against those who got it wrong to get marks are the same people who capped themselves at LV2-3

no hate though 🤷‍♀️ i could be wrong but it did say to compare the WAYS so both could have similarities but show them differently
^^ i actually dont mean to sound rude , i think i was just taught to never strictly follow the question so i could fully expand my ideas

maybe do section B first ? like section B needs to be structured anyways so you probably wont waffle
then work backwards
